i completely agree with this. there are a few individuals on this forum who seem to go well out of their way to nitpick, over-analyse and hound devs to the point where at least two that i know of (if you know who i mean, great. i am NOT naming names) have stated that they will never attempt to post here again.

this behaviour is sad and shows a lack of class and quite frankly, dignity.

There are a lot more than two unfortunately

I created this account to announce the release of my plugins, but honestly haven't even bothered and probably never will, I think i might just close this account and go back to my own personal account, then again i may go to d-pol and change my name to urs, that should set me up here hahahahaha

Well, the other 25% is related to what inspired people to attack the dev of the volume attenuator---a person with no established track record making what sounded like suspicious claims with no demo.

All I was saying with the 75% was that the Sound Magic person has done this repeatedly, thus the fact that people have little hesitation in attacking him when he does it again.

I don't think any of that is necessary. Urs built up his reputation here with excellent work and a respectful attitude towards customers.

Just avoid making claims that make your plug-ins sound like the greatest thing since sliced virtual bacon, and I would strongly advise resisting the urge to make announcements before you have at least a demo for one platform ready for people to DL. If they don't like the plug-in after trying it, they might say so, but they will not attack you personally.

You are acting like a child there. Use search function and you'll see that Urs reputation is well deserved here. His business model as well as top notch products are what made him so good here and over at different forums.

urs does deserve respect yes (And you will find i have never disrespected him, and nothing in this thread does so)
However he is treated like the almighty here by a lot of people and while that is wonderful it does breed the complete opposite when it comes to new devs and so on
If you can't see that, it is not my problem but yours, nothing childish about it at all

But take this too, sound magic has been destroyed in this thread and nobody could care less in fact it is all hilarious, mention urs name and you are being childish but better still i didn't say anything bad about urs, just that it may help if i changed my name to urs
So who is being childish exactly

There is a lot of very shameful behaviour on these forum of late

I was one of the original members of this forum since it existed
I created this account and stopped using my personal account because i put a plugin in one of the dev challenges, seemed only fair in case anybody wanted to ask any questions
I have put out a bunch of plugins since, that non of you know about simply because i can't be bothered telling anybody, they are what they are !!

Not sure how that is interesting ?
