I'm enjoying the heck out of my new copy of Angelina, but can't seem to get anything out of it besides very quiet sounds, even with the volume cranked to maximum. Am I unaware of a control somewhere?

Post

Yes. There's a hidden configuration :-)

- download this file: http://bigtick.pastnotecut.org/forum/angelgain.zip
- modify the included .reg file (in notepad) to set whatever default gain you'd like
- double-click the .reg file to validate your settings.

It should boost the angelina output level.
You can edit the file in notepad if you wish to change the gain settings.

Cheers,

That's kind of odd and cool at the same time :)

Thanks!

Worked brilliantly. It's like I got a whole new instrument! Maybe for v2 we could get a knob, though :)

i tried this to but it said when i double clicked and then clicked ok "cannot import , specified file not registry script" ??

Yes. I just noticed it is not compatible with all versions of Windows. OK, please edit it in notepad so that it reads:

Code: Select all

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BigTick\Angelina]
"DefaultGain"="4.0"
That should do it :-)

Thanks for posting this, I applied the patch and it's a LOT better now! I wondered why the darn thing was so quiet... :D 8)
