Very good review of Diversion in this months Computer Music, praises the sound quality and the ability to alter sounds. Only negative is CPU usage.

Damn, this synth really is the BOMB!
I love those Mseg's, just what I've been looking for for years.
It's just too darn heavy on my cpu though, but otherwise this synths blows mostly the rest out of the water.
Maybe I should just sell my Virus Snow and build a superduper pc to run this synth.

Congratulations Dmitry. I've always found Diversion interesting, but didn't have the budget to get it. A 99€ Christmas sale and I'm sold

Thanks djones, I'm really glad you have impressed. Thanks guys for congrats!
paterpeter, I'm affraid there will be no xmas sales for Diversion. The reason is that I hate to buy specific software (like VSTs) two and more times with every major version change. So I'm trying to follow ideas of various devs like image-line, Urs, etc and other devs from non-VST market. Once you buy Diversion you have lifetime free updates, you may use it on any number of computers you have, you may resale the plugin. Another important thing is that I'm highly interested in new customers, but I can't forget about existing. There were sold enough licenses for $150 in several previous months and it would be not good if existing customers will see xmas sales. I'm not discount hater, I'll think about discounts and group buys later when we will have more than one product. But I have something for you paterpeter, check your PM please.

Dmitry, thanks for the answer. Sticking to your business plans and decisions is a good trait. I highly appreciate developers who care for their existing customers and don't just go fishing for new ones. Keep up your spirit and your great work!
And thanks a lot for that PM, it is of great value to me!
All the best,
Andre

Hi Dmitry,
I'm experiencing a few issues with Diversion (newest version, x64) in Studio One v2 (newest version, x64).
1) Sometimes Diversion emits one loud spike and after that doesn't play any sound anymore. I need to remove the instance and load a new one or reload the project. I know this is quite vague, but that's what's happening.
2) I'm experiencing high CPU spikes at the beginning of a new note. Here's for example a simple preset (one osc, no filters, 4 voices unison): Issue.p
And here's the CPU load in Studio One when playing chords of three notes. Whenever I play a chord, there's a huge spike:

With more complex sounds this can easily lead to buffer overflows.
This is btw. running ASIO4ALL. Using the manufacturer's ASIO driver shows similar results, though. In Reaper, I can't seem to reproduce those spikes.
My rig:
Intel i7 2600k
16GB RAM
Windows 7 Professional x64 SP1
Diversion 1.02
Studio One 2.0.2
Native Instruments Traktor Audio 2, latest driver (3.0.2)
Regards,
Andre

Thanks Andre for details and especially for the preset with the issue. The first case is a crash inside Diversion. I fixed two different crashes for the coming update, I hope one of them covers this case. If not, I'll add a crashtrap to automatically collect all necessary details for fixing.
I'll start to learn the 2nd case soon, I'll try to fix that before the update released.
Thanks for the informing!
