GUI is completely borked on my Mac. Setting it to 150%, there's large areas of blank GUI and the whole thing is unresponsive - therefore I can't click to set the zoom back to 100% - I've submitted a ticket, should get fixed soon apparently.

Or an email informing you of the new version or hey, there's a sale on.Caine123 wrote:im also diappointed and while i love nexus2 etc. i dont like the official behaviour much, you dont get a "sorry" "we are working on it" or something. just here you have it.
Customer relations is, ahem, not REFX's thing.

no hate for their products and the service was always fast and very nice! but when people give negative feedback about an update they should say thx for letting us know and not say it's "FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" yeah it should be free , what else? lol

Click on the logo, it's one of the options on the "back" of Nexus.grymmjack wrote:How does one resize the GUI? (renoise 2.

Have to disagree with you on this one.Or an email informing you of the new version or hey, there's a sale on.
Customer relations is, ahem, not REFX's thing
I as a registered customer got an email informing me of forthcoming update and new soundbanks.
Sometimes it also pays to actually check their website for details.
Besides MSVS said several months ago to check for 64 bit update before xmas and he has delivered.
Customer relations is handled by Mike and Eva and I guarantee if you fill in a support ticket you will be answered.
I expect to pay for V3 when it becomes self programmable.
Cheers

This would be interesting to see. This is a tough problem to solve (upsampling the graphics without degrading quality too much).msvs wrote:I miss 125%

I like the new white skin controls.
One note to make, when upgrading from the old version to the new, the skin was set the same as it was before the upgrade (Dark (evil)). Since the skins are somewhat incompatible, yet the white3 skin is available, should it perhaps default to the white3 when loaded with upgrade? I understand why it's not, since a lot of producers use various skins to visually organize their Nexii they could get quite upset, but just wonder if others will be clever enough to pick white3 and not flood reFX with tech support issues saying "skin looks weird", etc.
I wonder if also separating the text labels from the actual raster graphics would facilitate better legibility on upsampled resizing so that the backgrounds are saved without the text baked in and then are overlaid in the code to remain very sharp/crisp? I'm sure that's more work though.
As it is, it's a nice new option, but it definitely looks like the resizing is done on the plugs window level, so even the browser text pixelates when upsampled. Would be cool if the text at least in the browser wasn't pixelated and natively scaled, much easier to read that way. I bet this is why the 150% has a asterisk near it, as it's more distorted?
Again, tough problem to solve and I'm grateful for the additional option, just some observations.

I understand the reasons for GUI size options, but why not make it so when you choose a larger size it isn't all bit-mapped looking and jagged? I am just used to the ultimate in quality when doing anything with Nexus, even the packaging for the disc was awesomemsvs wrote:people with 30" screens will see the pointI don't see the point of ruining the GUI for a larger size?(increase the gui size for a better readability if you are sitting quite far away from the screen)
people with small screens will see the point, too (decrease the gui size to get more Nexi on the screen simultaneously)

PS I will upload a screenshot
I guess what is needed is a higher res render of the whole thing, not simply a resize of the existing resolution....
Anyway, I am loving the new look when in 100% mode, and Kamui 2 is great as well
Thanks Manuel, you never cease to impress

Nice post Grymjack. I'm sure a lot of companies could benefit from you're graphics experience.Again, tough problem to solve and I'm grateful for the additional option, just some observations.
