Yes. But sometimes to destroy the enemy you need to infiltrate their camp! :troll:
That plus your sig reminds me that I wanted to check out MuLab... :hihi:
Please remember that MuLab it's not near Reaper in sophistication whatsoever BUT its workflow is as good and better then XT. Please understand that when I say Workflow, to me it means Simplicity, Efficiency but most of all EFFECTIVENESS. As I point out previously I write most of my music in the editor and for improvisations I use of course the keyboard and I rather do that in Live Sessions. MuLab has a very essential workflow in the painoroll by having the essential action available with the mouse without the modifiers keys leaving my left hand available for the keyboard. This is very important because when you get flowing with the ideas coming through you need no interruptions: one hand is on the mouse the other still playing when needed.
Also being Modular, it allows me to a certain level of freedom in the Modular window area where I can create extremely complex routing rivaling probably even Reaper, but on this I am not capable to be certain yet.
The synth engine is outstanding and you can create Synth and Effects as well. The Parts have independent (from the song loop) internal loops that allows you to do crazy stuff. So have fun but download the v4.0 beta. Jo the developer is on the forum Daily, so ask :help: and you shall receive.
Thanx a lot for that detailed info! Very cool.

Good thread question.

For sure some are sure in it for the price etc, but for me not at all. True it was the unrestricted demo that got me onto it in the first place, but I would without a doubt select it over all others regardless of price.

I'll answer the question this way. I've had Reaper since version 2, and have used and enjoyed it. I am on a Mac and liked that it worked on a Mac, and for the most part performed well.

Logic Pro is now sold on the Mac app store for $199. Bye bye Reaper.
Dell desktop Win 10 /2012 MacBook Pro
Cubase Pro 10/Mixcraft 9
