Well, I have no reason to doubt you because I have never heard of the genre, but seeing the papers on what offically announces a new genre would be interesting![]()

So.....Korn invented the mislabeling of brostep as dubstep, too?korn wrote: "We were dubstep before there was dubstep," Davis says. "Tempos at 140 with half-time drums, huge bassed-out riffs. We used to bring out 120 subwoofers and line them across the whole front of the stage, 60 subs per side. We were all about the bass."

Haha! Ok I AM the only one who likes the first LP (It went downhill after that pretty fast and deep though)
The lyrics are of course nonsense and only there to offend. But If you listen to lyrics you can listen to almost nothing

If Al Gore can share the glory of inventing the internet, I can share the honors of thinking of him as you did Mr. D!VitaminD wrote:I will delete my comment if you wish to have the credit.rockstar_not wrote:If I would have not read through all three pages, I would have beat you to this witty comment. "The sound of dubstep originally came out of productions by El-B,[8] Steve Gurley,[8] Oris Jay,[12] and Zed Bias[24][25] in 1999-2000. Ammunition Promotions, who run the influential club Forward>> and have managed many proto dubstep record labels (including Tempa, Soulja, Road, Vehicle, Shelflife, Texture, Lifestyle and Bingo),[6][12] began to use the term "dubstep" to describe this style of music in around 2002. The term's use in a 2002 XLR8R cover story (featuring Horsepower Productions on the cover) contributed to it becoming established as the name of the genre.[24][26]"reusenoise wrote:You are all wrong
