I am now a proud owner of Chromophone. So far all I have done is some tweaking on the presets, but I see tremendous possibilities for this. I am relatively new to physical modeling, so I suspect I am going to learn a lot by playing with this synth. It is a whole different mindset from sample-based and VA synths I have used to this point. If I come up with anything interesting, I will post it for you.
Thanks to everyone who has been posting their stuff. It has inspired me to take a crack at this.

Another thing I'm missing with Chromaphone is a master envelope section. If you want slow attacks for non-percussive sounds, there are ways but it would be simplest to just use a master envelope. It could also be combined with some type of dynamic compression to provide really cutting attack transients and help get some fatter body sounds. I also think it could an EQ pre-FX.
BTW, when I wrote about Chromaphone's tendency towards delicate sounds, I was thinking of the big drums in Stormdrums or like these in the 8dio collection. Chromaphone has a way to go before it can emulate these kinds of powerful drums, but that would definitely make it a must have.

I was not so impressed by AAS' audio demos but downloaded this and am really amazed at a what a versatile, unique sounding VSTi this is. It goes far beyong perussive stuff. Some of the plucked string instruments are just amazing. This is right up there with NI's Steampipe as a rare jewel. I'm a happy customer.

I made a long piece here using Numerology and
6 instances of Chromaphone
1 instance of String Studio,
2 instances of Tassman
2 instances of Ultra Analog
1 instance of Lounge Lizard..
All with 2 or 3 voices polyphony
It's all very experimental, maybe a crazy way of using expensive technology!!!
But Hey it's a learning process, and I'm having fun so don't shoot the piano player okay?? okay??
This is put together with my very only multi complex setup on Numerology by Five12.com no animals harmed, and no cutting pasting, re editing, a ll this is generated by using 12 sequences of no more that sixteen tones in length, but modulated by ..... well that's another story..
Some stuck notes, and some loud notes, not really any effects..
I like the raw feel and and the beautiful mess..
I get all this working on my mid 2007 iMac 2.4 Ghz 4 Gb ram
That explains the stuck note, I've set up a Sound stack(rack) with a loop that hard and brutal turns on and cuts out plugs in sequence..
Crazy unadvisable rude, crude and fun.
