Hi Folks,
I have been using Cantabile Pro on a notebook and am very pleased. I haven't gigged with it yet but will soon. I recently acquired a Fujitsu Slate computer. I have installed Cantabile on it and it works great.
I would like to transfer my sessions and sub sessions to the new puter. Is there a shortcut way to do so or would I be better off just recreating the settings?
Thanks,
LooseBruce

I think this should not be a huge problem once you have installed all the needed plugins on the slate pc...
Not sure what "shortcut" you are after, just copying the sessions should do then.

Hi,
yes and no: I did it and it worked fine so far but I used the same midi-interface on both machines. I think you'll have to do a remapping of all the midi-routings in each scene if the interfaces are different.

Thank you for your reply.
DUH...This was one of those things that was so easy it was invisible to me. I generally only use 1 session with many subsessions for performance.I therefore forget about clicking on the Cantabile symbol where you save them.
I just found the file in a folder where they are saved and stuck it on my desktop on the new puter and VOILA!!. Then I started Cantabile from there. So easy even a caveman could do it.
Thanks,
LooseBruce

No problem mate...
Better to ask before doing something in case of doubt rather than fixing stuff for hours later.
