Hi all,
Is this a boring, deadish melody? Maybe not enough 'leaps'? it's just 8 bars long not too long listen!

Thoughts on this please

not deadish at all. just fill out the other voices of the chords with pads bass etc.
My first instinct is that it's a i-iim7b5 in... F?
you could sub for the ii with a iv
so if you make the harmony
Fm Gm7b5 Fm Bbm7
that adds dynamicism to your progression and it's magically more interesting!
try a bassline that outlines the roots of those chords too.
then elongate. instead of having every track come in initially, mebbe have the percussion start after an iteration or 2 of the loop, then drop a bass, etc.

one more suggestion: the last notes in the piano melody are Eb D Eb-Eb
it would sound badass if you had some voice, whether it be bass/melody/whatever play a chromatic descending line to lead back to the C. Your piece feels like its already kinda developing a chromatic flavor.
Eb D Eb D C# | C C Ab F etc...
