Ahhh, Mellotron! I always loved the evocative sounds it made. Nicely put together here in a dark and forboding track. Good stuff, enjoyed listening to this.

Wow - this track is so atmospheric, and it really does have a 70s vibe. Very effective sound choices here, and a claustrophobic feel to the mix. And of course the mellotron sounds are so full of character. Terrific stuff.

Double-necked guitar eh? Hmmm...wonder if it's too late to send another letter to Santa

I really don't know if this is simply an experimental track or if this is a song. Anyway, some really dark sounds, mistery, fear, something's going to happen...that's a creppy athmosphere.
Have you considered adding some percussion, not a percussion line but random sounds instead...together with some low end "explosive" sounds in the back ground?

Just a sugestion..probably to be used together with those chorus on the second half.

Hey Mike, thanks for listening and commenting. I think this one turned out quite well. During the remix I was tempted to add little embellishments, but in the end I thought I'd leave it as you heard it.

The desire for a double-neck Shergold Modulator simply reflects my latent gearlust tendency. I couldn't play it. Heck I probably couldn't even lift it

I shall merely content myself with the boxed edition of BFD-Eco!

I don't think this could be called a song! At fist I thought it was experimental, but it came together really quickly (almost unnervingly so). I put it to bed 2 years ago and revisited it last week for a remix. I was tempted to put some percussion on here (maybe a gong or something like that) but I couldn't find one with a convincing sound, and it would have clouded the HF on the Dominator synth part. In the end I decided to leave the track alone apart from the eq/master. Besides, 90% of my tracks have percussion on them, so this was an opportunity to scare people quietly, and with some element of subtlety.

i was having a very similar reaction.

It sounds like a movie soundtrack. This would be excellent in a sci-fi/horror/intrigue movie.

Yeah, this is sweet. I love the pulsing and movement of it. I think the only thing I would say (mixing-related) is that it may need a little teeny cut @ about 400hz or so (not at my mixing box) with a narrow band to reduce the mid overflow. Should smooth things out slightly. The content and feel is spot on and I enjoyed it thoroughly
