Hi.
Does this happens with all the VST hosts? Those GUI's may work better with the "separated GUI mode" option enabled.

So far I have just tried with Studio One and Kore but could try some others. I have enabled the sluggish hack but will try that box too thanks

Maybe it would be useful to have a little icon to manually refresh the gui - I find if I close and reopen the gui it can clear up the grey so maybe a manual refresh will do the same thing?

It has already, for the integrated GUI mode, click the jBridge icon on the bottom left.
( It may not work with all the plug-in/host combinations )

I had issues with the Image Line plug-ins in Cubase, was quickly resolved with enabling the Sluggish GUI hack, the Stop Host from taking control hack and the Opcode 19 thing, with those three enabled, and integrated GUI it's working perfectly.

Having trouble getting started with jBridge. I'm running Win7 64bit with 64bit version of Cantabile Free.
1) I installed jBridge 1.4 demo (c:\program files\jbridge) and pointed Cantabile to my plugins folder. After a scan, only 64bit plugins show up. I thought Cantabile would detect and use jBridge automatically.
2) Ran the jBridger, scanned all my 32bit plugins and created a new folder for them. 171 files were created. Added this folder to the plugin path in Cantabile and did a scan. Still only my 64bit plugins are showing.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

Hi.
Try loading them directly ( without using the bridging files ), by clicking "New plugin", then clicking in "Choose File/Plugin", that should work.

Hello.
If Samplitude is 32bit you'll need to create 32bit bridging files, even if you're using 64bit plugins. ( Choose "I'll be using a x86 host" )
Drop me an email if you need any more help.

Thanks! I have done the basic steps, but appear that jbridged files are not compatible with Samplitude.umd wrote:Hello.

I have tryed the dlls with other hosts, and they are ok, but Samplitude dont recognize them.
When Samplitude scans a dll, it's listed in the "vstplugins.ini" file as an fx or as an instrument, 0 and 1 respectively. If it is not recognized it is marked as "4".
This is the result of the scaning: "K:\JBridge\Kontakt 4.dll",4
So, something is wrong between samplitude and jBridge.

Hi!
I've tested Samplitude here, but it was a while ago, I am going to download the demo again to give a try.
Meanwhile, please make sure that you're running it as admin as shown in pics 1-2 here:

I'll post my results later.

Hello.
Just gave it a test here with Samplitude Pro X, bridged Kontatk 4 worked fine.
Perhaps there's something missing in your steps? Have you done exactly as shown in the link above?
( Please note that in the last step, you'll need to consult Samplitude's documentation on how to add a new folder for scanning )
