I just get a broken image link.Ch00rD wrote:I may be misunderstanding your question, but I think we already can do what you are asking for (maybe we need another example?).zerocrossing wrote:[...] it sure would be nice if there was a way to assign a modulation range to something so, for instance, you could get the aftertouch to control the filter cutoff but not have it end up at zero when the default of the patch was not.
For example, in the patch shown below aftertouch (aka pressure) is modulating the filter cut-off by a positive amount of 48 (semitones) with the cut-off returning to the default value in the patch (in casu 64) when the amount of aftertouch is 0:

installs fine on PC now off to do so on mac.
whats' the story with the Big Tone patches in draft mode? Also Urs, I did try saving as a default a patch that has offline to always do at best... but I can't get it to become the new 'default'

Peter contributed the first patch ever... literally on the first day of beta testing - he seemed very happy with what he heardThe unshushable Coktor wrote:Peter Gorges contributed one preset? Cool. Didn't know he's still around, I used to read his articles back in the "Keyboards" days.

I had to run the the PC installer twice because it asked for only a single plug-in path. So I installed 32 and 64 bits separately.
Everything seemed to work OK in both 32 and 64-bit plug-in mode.
I moved the 'Diva.data' to 'C:\ProgramData\u-he\VSTData' like the rest of your VST data files and made a symlink from my VST folders to there.
-------
Here is an example for MY PATHS - change them for your own if you copy this!!
mklink /D G:\VST-32\u-he\Diva.data C:\ProgramData\u-he\VSTData\Diva.data
mklink /D G:\VST-64\u-he\Diva.data C:\ProgramData\u-he\VSTData\Diva.data
-------
I ran the 64-bit plug-in first (as administrator)and it asked for my registration code.
Then I ran the 32-bit plug-in.
I made the 'Tunefiles' folder in the 'ProgramData' area and moved in the TUN files - they all show up fine.
There's lots of presets now and I'm checking them out.
Thanks!!!

yes I too wish on windows it put the 32 bit and 64 bit in two different locations with one run. as I do keep them in two completely separate locations.

Sorry rsp, the installer has become a hell of a complicated piece of code. You can of course choose to install both at once, into the same location. But then you should move one out, and create a shortcut to the data accordingly.
Thing is, I wished Microsoft had come up with universal binaries like Apple did. One install does 32 bit, 64 bit, Intel and PowerPC (well, no PowerPC Diva though). Even AU and VST are a single compile. Hard to imagine on Win (where, well, thankfully not so many formats exist)
Otoh, maybe we'll roll our own installer once.

Hi, well the one thing I don't like about the mac installer is that it usually doesn't allow you the end user to make subfolders........either way, the installer is not a big problem........this thing sounds fantastic... you should be very proud of yourself and team. my only one question is I still can't figure out ( I have tried both saving my own intialize and default patches) to chose my own default quality engine (oversampling) and the render default)
