I've been recompressing and backing up my downloaded sample libraries over the past few days; was able to get all the KH libraries backed up to 15 DVD+R DL disks.

-just so it does not get lost on the previous page. This really should be fixedAKJ wrote:Hi,
so far, I found the following bugs in Diamond (yes, I have applied the update). Kirk, can you please test/verify and provide fixes:
1. VPRO Solo Brass: same bug as with Woodwinds (IntervaLive down does produce noise) where it was fixed. The VPRO instruments are important since some insturments are not present in the TVEC3 versions (i.e. trumpet a, trombone a and french horn a).
2. TVEC3 Woodwinds: English Horn, Oboe and Clarinet feature some sustain sounds from Trumpet A. That does not sound right.
I would appreciate an answer/fixes.
Cheers, AKJ
Also, still I'd like to know about the missing articulations for those horns. Oh, and is it just for me, or do some notes on some instruments have faint single "pops" in the background?
Has anyone found any such problems with Concert Strings II/Brass II? I think I'm getting them because of the amazing deal--
A while back I was hoping for some comparisons between Concert Brass II and Cinebrass for example, and maybe Concert Strings II vs Diamond or competitors.
EDIT: Trumpet A, the 6 trumpets ensemble has more high notes available. Eh? Can this all be fixed as well?

Kirk's been working on things
From: http://www.kirkhunterstudios.com/update.html12/19/2011 Diamond
Fixes the TVEC 3 Bassoon instrument where the trills did not sound.
1. Download the file below.
2. Unzip the downloaded file.
3. Put the resulting "_TVEC_3_updates" folder along with its contents into the root directory of your Diamond library.

Might I suggest making updates that overwrite older versions instead of creating new folders? I',m slightly confused about which instruments are old and which I am supposed to use in place of them.
The quick rip doesn't work on all notes.

The updates themselves are just new folders that are downloaded. They don't overwrite any of the old files, so for me, personally, it would be better if the updates actually replaced the old instruments so it's easier to deal with it all. It's just a suggestion that I think would be useful.

That didn't answer my question, I think. I'm still considering buying CB2 and want to know if I have to go through the hassle of applying previoius fixes if I download CB2 now, so .....:synchronizer wrote:The updates themselves are just new folders that are downloaded. "Are the main downnloads updated each time fixes are released or do previous fixes still need to be applied after you get a main download now?"

Of that I am unsure, but I doubt that the updates are applied. I guess I'd like to ask the same thing. Looking forward to responses to the both of us.
EDIT: I found a potential bug: Set Diamond's TVEC 3.1 Violins (1st Violins, 2nd Violins, or Romantic Violins) to Solo short, any staccato. Using the pitch wheel results in a legato slide instead of a slide using the staccato. I'm looking forward to some responses regarding this.
EDIT 2: In addition, the pitch wheel doesn't do anything when solo violin trills (both semi-tone and tone) are selected. In fact, no sound is produced period when the pitch wheel is not centered.
Any Staccato on 2nd Violins produces a loud scraping sound- but of course this could be on purpose. Disregard and focus on the above in that case.
