Latest update. I have logged a service request with Apple's Express Lane. I am hoping they can just reverse the 2 inapt purchases and then I can go ahead and purchase the full version (hoping that the pricing will still be the same- would suck to find out after all of this I have to pay more for the same in-app's). Will post to this thread on how it goes.

I for one wouldn't go that far.
I really quite like Amplitube/iOS (and already purchased the reverb and multitracker options), but I don't think I'll spend another cent on anything IKMM, especially given that the support guys are as clueless as it gets. To me, that shows a lot about a companys "spirit" or whatever you may call it.
Interested in what you end up with, though.

I really like Amplitube a lot too, especially on the iPad. It has great low to mid gain tones (I still prefer AmpKit for high gain), and the effects are great. Sadly, I can no longer use Amplitube on iOS.

final update.
Well, let's all hear it for Apple- this is why I love Apple stuff. I got an email back from Nending at Apple support- and he apologized that I had issues- can you believe it???? He said he was reversing the 2 charges for the "accidental" in-app purchases (love that) so I will see a full credit within the next week.
Now THAT is how you treat a customer- love it!
Once I get that credit, I will be going after the full version. So guys, what would you do- VocalLive full or Amplitube Full- is there any difference beyond the skin?

Any difference beyond the obvious that Vocalive are for vocals, and Amplitube is for guitars?
I would guess the effect are totally different.

You would think so- but you can buy the Vocal live effects for Amplitube. I am looking at the differences stompbox wise and see that with Amplitube, you miss out on the Parametric EQ, Reverb andCompressor- which are included with VocalLive (and then means that the 50 presets from Vocallive will likely have issues again if used inside Amplitube). Going to have to think through this one- not sure I like the Vocalive interface- but definately need vocal tools as well as guitar tones (as I am planning on using this to create effects for a flute believe it or not). Maybe I will just forgo the Fender pack and do Vocalive pack inside of Amplitube and pickup the remainnig stompboxes. Very confusing.

Indeed. IKMM should come up with ONE single FX processing app. The basic version should contain whatever is available for free. Then one could decide what in-app-purchases one would like to make. As easy as that.

@JavaJ I think going the AmpliTube route with VocaLive in app purchases would be best. Especially since it is for flute and not as much singing. Plus you did state in another thread that you don't need the vocal tools. AmpliTube seems the way to go here.

That is what I am leaning towards.
