How annoying, I found the wallpapers, but they do not appear in the Kontakt browser. I am not allowed to select ANY .TGA files s my wallpaper either. Something is really odd.
EDIT: I got Kontakt to find the wallpapers, but in the browser, all of the files are greyed out. Thus, they can't be selected. What do I do?

What OS / browser? I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium and Explorer.

Max OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard and the normal Mac FInder
I've found that apparently Kontakt doesn't allow me to click on TGA, the filetype that all of the wallpapers are using. If, for example, I switch the filetype into .png, it can be selected. Isn't that odd? I'm not sure what the consequences of switching the filetype or the wallpaper are. I'm not interesting in resaving all of my projects just because I switched a wallpaper. (I doubt this would happen, but I'm being cautious.)

That sounds to me like an OSX problem, not a Kontakt problem.

I can open the files out side of Mac OSX perfectly though.

The TVEC_1 and TVEC_3 updates for Diamond
I have just installed these two updates, into the new folders as specified.
But there is a disadvantage - I now have duplicate instruments (the original and updated versions) in the Library. It would be much better (for me, anyway) if the original versions of the old instruments were replaced.
So, I moved the the TVEC_1 updates, into:
...\82_Alto_Flutes\Alto_Flute_Instruments
...\86_Bass_Clarinets\BassClarinet_Instruments
...\87_Bassoons\Bassoon_Instruments
...\88_Contra_Bassoons\CBassoon_Instruments
...\85_Clarinets\Clarinet_Instruments
...\84_English_Horns\EHorn_Instruments
...\81_Flutes\Flutes_Instruments
...\83_Oboes\Oboe_Instruments
...\80_Piccolos\Piccolo_Instruments
Notes:
-- First, I backed up the original .nki files into a ZIP file, just in case
-- I did a Batch Re-save to rediscover the samples (for some reason, the Batch Re-save makes the .nki files smaller).
-- I did the TVEC_3 update too, moving Diamond Bassoon Solo.nki into the folder "Diamond Orchestra\_TVEC_3.1_Instruments\12_bassoon_instruments"
-- do not attempt this without a safety harness.

Whoops I meant to say "Kontakt" The files are clickable outside of Kontakt, but when I go and try to select a .TGA in the isntruments settings, all of the files are greyed out. TIFFS and TGAs do the same. PNGs, however, work.
EDIT: Indeed I wish the updates somehow automatically overwrote the old versions.

First off, I want to thank you for this excellent group buy! What an amazing deal.
I have a few days left until I make my final decision. I initially joined the GB to get the Pop/Rock Strings II. The more I read and listen, the more I like the sounds of CS2 and CB2. I see that both of these require Kontakt 4+. The issue is that I'm still on Kontakt 3.5. I'm planning on upgrading this year. The issue isn't money, it's location. I'm currently living and working in Beijing. The Kontakt 5 upgrade is box only. Things like that usually don't make it if sent in the mail; I tried ordering software a few years ago over here and it was a mess, never got it. So, I have to wait until I have a family member or friend coming out from the states, and have them hand carry anything like that.
I see that CS2 used to work with Kontakt 3.5 when it had TVEC2. Would it be possible to get CS2 with TVEC2 and TVEC3? That way I could use it now, and then use TVEC3 this summer when we go to the states for business. If that were the case then I'd get CS2 over PRS2.
I know that the Concert Brass 2 library was just finished, so I suppose it wasn't ever in the TVEC2 format right?
If it were possible to get one or both of CS2 and CB2 in Kontakt 3.5 format, that would be killer. It would seal the deal for me. If it's not possible or too much trouble, then I think I'll just get the PRS2 for now.
Thanks much,
Doug McGee

Hello Kvrians!
Concert Strings and Brass (happy) owner writing here.
Considering to buy Diamond also, but i'd like to see a complete articulations chart first, not just a instrument list and sections.
Is it possible for someone to post a pdf or a link here? I'll appreciate a lot.
Thanks in advance and a happy new year.
Best!

Here's one showing the Divisions, Articulations and Features - I don't know that there's a full, concise list.

Some of the other instruments may have Flutter and Quick Rip, I haven't checked.

Thank you, Darkstar. If somebody post a similar list or image showing the woodwinds and strings in details, i'll be more than happy.DarkStar wrote:Here's one showing the Divisions, Articulations and Features - I don't know that there's a full, concise list.
