A response,

I wrote them yesterday under the subject line of "Filing a complaint with the CBS" as follows...

"Since you have not responded to my requests for a download link for the product that I paid for I am filing a complaint with the CBS in Adelaide. I am also following the KVR rumor that you have moved to Canada and have friends there that can help me find the agency to put a stop to this. I believe that my incessant complaining about you to PayPal is finally resulting in your dealings being investigated there.

Would it not be simpler to give me the download that I paid for or just refund my money? Honestly?"

Received the following response...

"Hi,

There is no one here at work until next week wednesday, however I will process your refund no problem, thanks again. We will also send you Spectralive V4 as soon as we are back to work here, thanks!

PS. We jave sent out an e-mail last week and offered refunds if a customer wishes if not released after Christmas, however this should be after new year as everyone is on break until next week wednesday."

I think they are just stalling for time so I am going to go ahead and file the complaint anyway. If there were a product for me to download this would not have become a problem in the first place. I urge everyone who pre-ordered to file a complaint with PayPal in spite of the 45 day limit. When I figure out the complaint for with the Australian CBS I will post again.

I think that under the circumstances it would be a good idea for the boss/owner of KVR to get involved in this. All of the people here who got scammed have PayPal or Credit card receipts to prove that we paid for something that we didn't get. Not banning Crysonic implies that they have KVR's blessing. I can't imagine how many more people out there who have been victimized as well.

When AudioMidi ran their 15 dollar no brainer deal they must have added thousands of new people to their database.

Can we get a little help please?

Atomic Shadow: You can contact Ben, the admin of KVR, by sending a PM to "Ben [KVR]". I've no idea whether he'll want to get involved -- there is an ocean between us and I have little contact with him -- but that's how to reach him.

If the revised deadline passes and Crysonic still have not made good on their latest promise, I will likely ban the Crysonic account. That's the name on it, right? Of course, then they won't be able to respond here, so anyone hoping to hear from them on KVR will be disappointed. The way things are going it might be that's no great loss.

Well,
They refunded my money and I have an e-mail that says they will send me a download for the product next week when everyone is back in the office. That is some good progress.

I would still like to know if I am the only one who had this response because as soon as I wrote them and said I filing a complaint with the CBS in Adelaide- BANG refund. Could have been a coincidence I suppose. But then there is the Ambrose Bierce definition of coincidence from the Devil's Dictionary to consider...

Yesterday I ordered the Christmas bundle and received the download link a few hours later. Everything OK.

Sent Crysonics an email few days ago as still no activited despite the 23rd Dec self declared dealine from Simon at Crysonics. Awaiting a response for product and will give them a week to deliver. Good will to all men and all that.

If not simply go down the refund route I guess.

I've just sent them another email. Not received anything from them at all so I've requested a refund now. We'll see what happens I guess.

There is one flaw in the whole discussion that I see (personal opinion):

You all asked for refunds... most of you get that.

But what will happen next?
Is the topic cleared for you?

It's surely not the first time that this issue boils up, on top of other things (read the backlogs on that end). This is a longer ongoing story and history shows that people are getting temp/permanent banned over other and more blatant stupid things than this.

Suddenly there is an apology, a refund and everything is fine.

I don't know what else to call it but "damage control". And it seems to work all the time.

Crysonics -=- No Contact but finally a release. Be cautious when sending money . Read thread.
