I stand corrected (by myself) - you can make it random.

Diva's crazy little brother still has quite a few tricks up his sleeve :-D

MIDI and ICs, LOL.

Sprout some real anal logs, bee-awtchez.

Real Analog Vs. Diva(Vst's)

Amazing, before listening to the product video I couldn't hear 20kHz - now I can!!!
OK, sure.... 8) :)

Hehe, the guy says in the beginning that the filter opens up to 20kHz, but when he juggled cutoff with the resonance fully up it went up to, what, 8kHz or something? Kind of strange, innit? Or am I missing something...?

Urs comment was funny ... but I'm also first in line to demo the Minitaur. Looks like a lot of fun!

Peace,
Andy.

Funny...true.

I have a Slim Phatty and will be in that Minitaur demo line with you. Truly fat/phat analog sounds.

Again Diva sounds outstanding!!! However, the difference between it (vst's) and real analog is still large. :) Both have their purposes.... 8)

Yep, the difference in price is considerable. The difference in sound much less.

The sounds in the demo videos you linked do not sound appreciably different than some of the top soft synths these days. At this point, I would not call the difference large. I would call it small.

Because:
(Digital vs. Analog) is the song that doesn't end,
Yes, it goes on and on my friend,
Some people started singing it not knowing what it was
And they'll continue singing it forever just because.... <repeat to infinity>

Go through all this trouble, and the end result gets played on smartphones w/earbuds, laptop speakers, or some club with a mono system and bass peaking at 250hz with some DJ lopping off the entire intro and outro while scratching our pretty breakdown to death.

(Repeat trance chord, close filter, build noise, machine-gun snare, drop, wobble, done.) :nutter:

There you go trying to add reason to this stuff..... :hihi: ^^^^
