one pad cuts off another

I have created a kit, each pad of which uses a different sample. However, I have noticed that for two pads, playing one cuts off the audio from another. All other pads, when played, do not interfere with the decay of others.

Any idea on what is unique about these two pads?

Sounds like choke, see pg 24 of the manual

You are correct. I disabled the choke for the two pads, and they now operate like I intended.
