Audio Damage is still on my s***list until Chris makes a real attempt to fix the validation issue that makes Discord3 useless in Logic Pro 9.1.6 -- and maybe considers an attitude adjustment as well.

Have you tried asking for a refund? That's more likely than AD treating customers as anything other than an inconvenience.shapeshifter wrote:Audio Damage is still on my s***list until Chris makes a real attempt to fix the validation issue that makes Discord3 useless in Logic Pro 9.1.6 -- and maybe considers an attitude adjustment as well.

I just grabbed that s/h from someone. Haven't loaded in logic yet till my new drive comes.
What OS are you running?
Yes he is very responsive at tackling emails but for some reason just doesn't like to fix bugs, i find it very very unusual.
Anyway.
Snow Leopard 10.6.8. The other 2 plugs I own from Audio Damage work great - Filterstation and Replicant (latest versions). So unless its some quirk in my Mac, and I don't think it is- Chris has some glitch in his coding that Logic doesn't like. I forgot to mention that my iMac is booted in 64bit and Logic also in 64bit. Ttoz, if you would let me know whether or not you got Discord3 working on your system when you get your drive I would appreciate it. I am very hesitant to buy any more Audio Damage stuff, though many of the other plugs look interesting - until I know they are truly willing to address any Logic issues.....

The 64-bit version of Discord 3 fails validation here ("could not be opened").
Chris mentioned this Logic bug on his blog some time back. It affects some AD plugins, the bug has been identified and eventually all plugins will be fixed - most likely as each plugin is re-visited during this round of updates, so real soon now.
Peace,
Andy.

I'd reported the same bug with 64-bit Discord3 to AD under Mac OS X Lion. Had a prompt reply acknowleding the issue. No worries here. Nice that they're getting the 64-bit updates knocked out!ZenPunkHippy wrote:The 64-bit version of Discord 3 fails validation here ("could not be opened").

A big thank you to everyone for clearing this up for me. I got a refund on Discord3 but will buy again once i know the bug has been fixed. Any of their other plugs have validation issues in Logic? I would like to buy some more of their stuff as their offerings are really excellent when they work....
