And it's not just for DJs either.

Say you and your friend both have iPhones, AmpliTube, and iRigs... that's a pretty likely scenario, right? Perhaps you want to jam together and plug into a stereo or mixer. iRig MIX will accommodate just that. It's a very handy, inexpensive portable mixer that can even run off a mobile battery pack.
You missed a trick by not getting it out before xmas though.
They would have sold like hotcakes for xmas presents for kids.

"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

If you had more bass amp models in Amplitube for iPad, and/or a custom shop just like you offer for Amplitube 3 users, then you might have a new customer whilst I would have to wrestle the iPad from my girlfriend's grasp...

Handy? Why would anyone buy a mixer to plug into another mixer? Should we buy two so that four people could plug into another mixer?

We have updated the AmpliTube Custom Shop last year more than of our iOS apps. We plan on even more surprises for it this year. ;)

iRig MIX is really unique for a couple of reasons. With the upcoming DJ Rig, you can automatically sync the tempo of internal decks to external devices. CD players, drum loops from GrooveMaker or SampleTank for iPad can be synched to a currently playing song!

But then it wouldn't be "virtual" anymore and we all know by now that virtual is better than the real thing, right?

Why do you even visit this forum then, if you're not interested in mobile platforms? Oh right; you're just trolling.

Here is double deck mode in DJ Rig:

sonicflux, running synths into a rack mixer prior to the main desk is pretty common, same with a DJ mixer into the house board.

For iRig MIX, though, most likely users will run out of the RCA outs into some consumer electronics device, most likely a home theater system, or they will use headphones. Around here, we tend to assume everyone already has a mixer and studio monitors, but that isn't the case, and for a lot of people, iRig MIX will be the only mixer they have or need.

That's looking cheap. You need a better graphic designer. Just have a look at the volume knobs. They try to look 3D when everything else is pretty much 2D. And that's coming from someone who usually really doesn't care.
But well, UIs, be it soft- or hardware, don't even remotely seem to be IKMMs forte.

Those who can do maths and those who can't.

It isn't in the App Store so things can and do typically change. Thanks for the suggestion. We get a lot of compliments on our UI, but hey it is obviously a subjective thing of course.

Also, we make sure we put something extra special like these alleged imperfections now to attract those that come to pick at us in threads here. Consider it our little gift to you. We could put some easter eggs in the apps for that too, but I figure you don't like our stuff enough to be driven to pile drive us in every thread that you don't buy the apps anyway right?
