the only solution i see to a Mac version, is that we (Hermann or myself) get a Mac for free, at least for some time, and build the version.

best,
Wolfgang

Maybe you could hook up with Urs Heckmann?

Thanks to Hermann for bringing the good news, thanks to Wolfgang for BEING AN AWESOMELY COOL GUY ALTOGETHER! :)

So, the only thing that Plex would now need is creating and importing user partials, right? :)
Really could not express it any better...
Big Thanks to Wolfgang and Hermann !
Seriously, this is beyond being cool.

Thanks so much !

(Am I mistaken, or does Plex sound better now, as I remember it back then ?)

Cheers

Like others here I wasn't expecting a 64 bit release. This is fantastic. Huge, huge thanks to all involved, this really is very much appreciated.

This is the best possible suggestion one might have suggested. Wolfgang, Urs develops on a Mac, so you can't go wrong asking him to help out. Especially you're both German. :D

if there were more people interested in a mac intel version and willing to pay a certain amount of money to sb, who could port it to mac, would Wolfgang share the code with this person?

is there a person, who'd like to port it to mac (at least 1.6)?

thanks
I would gladly pay for an AU OSX version. I miss Plex dearly; it's such an underrated gem.

hello, I just tried to install the new 2.04 version. I just unzipped the first DL, then unzipped the 2.04 and replaced everything with the new stuff (well the few files that were there).

When I try to open it in reaper, reaper just grays out and sort of freezes. Now, I am a noob so I am most likly doing something wrong. If anyone has an idea, please let me know :)

For OSX Users : VFX

Works with the Windows 32 bit version ...It's not a 100% ideal solution as it's not in host , but if there is a Windows based plugin or two you can't live without it gets the job done .
I have successfully got it to run Plex2 , SQ8L , OPX Pro II , PG8X , Phutura , and a few other decent freeware vsti's
The only one I can remember not working was Cobalt ...though it was a demo version .
