Thank you for the compliment and your support Jonathan. :-)

I'm creating more of those organic beats as we speak so I'd hope that they will be made available soon.
Splendid news, I look forward to hearing what you come up with.

Folder ELECTRO preset 'Progressiv Tribe' is totally wrong. It's a completely different preset/sound/pattern to what should be there, which is this:
http://www.electric-himalaya.com/stuff/ ... _Tribe.mp3

Folder ELECTRO, preset 'Ambient 2' is saved in pattern 8 but it should be pattern 1 which sounds like this:
www.electric-himalaya.com/stuff/tremor/Ambient_2.mp3

Folder '4 to the floor', preset '4-4 Banger' is saved in pattern 8 but it should be pattern 1 which sounds like this:

I just don't get why your message above hasn't provoked more reactions, so I'm probably completely missing the point...

But, are you saying that your mentioned Tremor presets are somehow messed up? Is there a way for us users to correct this? Or is it something that can only be fixed be a re-release or patch by FXpansion?

I'm still on the verge on Tremor. I had every intention to buy it on release day, but the lack of drag & drop to DAW is a huge showstopper for me. Because that's how I like to work. Still, Tremor is tempting...

This should be corrected with the next version, I hope.

Jump on it! The modulation system is really worth the price of admission on its own as it's incredibly easy to create very complex, moving, shifting sounds.

Unless you have multiple voices with long release times stacking up due to the "Cut" parameter being turned off for one of the engines, that doesn't sound right.

CPU is quite well be behaved here on a 2011 MBP.

Peace,
Andy.
I've got it about 34% on my intell Core I7 930. With a kick, snare, two hats and a crash. The kick has been edited as have the snare and crash. Seems pretty good so far, using the demo that is. Over all, I love the sound and work flow on the synth page.

Yeah i've got nowhere near that with less than all 8 engines running. I think mental climber ate the most cpu, about 60% on my c2d laptop, even on a single core in maschine! :o

You can record the sequencer to midi... And that deals with the different lengths and tempos of each engine...

Tried it and liked it - a lot. I was skeptical because of all the criticisms, and while I think a lot of them are valid, it's still a very versatile and fun tool. It's really intuitive to use (although I haven't done more than dabble with the synth engines), and that goes a long way for me in determining whether something will be useful. The synthesis is obviously at least as good as any drum vst out there, and I suspect it's even capable of a wider range of sounds than most. So don't let the rather monochromatic presets mislead you.

For those wanting to incorporate samples, here's what I did. I used the awesome sequencer in Tremor to drive Poise, which is a simple little sample-based drum vst. The great thing is that the MIDI outs for the 8 tracks in Tremor match up with the default mapping for the first 8 sample pads in Poise. So I threw Tremor on one track in Ableton Live, Poise on another, set the Poise track to receive MIDI from Tremor, loaded a kit in Poise, and that was it. Then you can decide whether you want to mix in sounds from Tremor via the volume faders for each synth engine. I had simultaneous parts going where some were just Tremor, some just Poise, and some a mix of both, and timing stayed right on.

Anyway, I think for me so far the sequencer is the best part. It's simple, but has some neat innovations, and it's really fast to come up with interesting rhythms. I hope everyone gives it an honest try, and can see past the few shortcomings that will probably be addressed in later versions.

Well it sounds awesome. Thank you.

I was so turned off by the sound demos on FXpansion site, which I thought sounded brittle, that I almost didn't try it out. But Tremor is capable of very smooth and organic sounds too.

The CPU hit is brutal though. Good thing I'm getting a new computer.

Edit - having played around with it for a few more minutes, it's not just the demos that sound brittle and harsh but the presets, in my opinion. No offense FXpansion, but I think the fancy wild and crazy new new to nice classic sounds ratio is could use some major adjustments. These presets are probably going to turn a lot of people off who would like Tremor if they realized how mellow it can sound.

Lots of nice demos & use of Tremor in tracks starting to appear on SoundCloud. Shame their search feature is rubbish - makes it almost impossible to find them :?

Here is my rendition of the classic Maestro Rhythm King drum machine:

The only sounds missing are the low and high blocks as I have run out of channels in Tremor. However I think there is a simple trick which will give me those two channels back.

is there a preset of this available...... anywhere?
Nice.

Tremor sounds great... love it... but it really needs a draft and render mode... it is too easy to kill the cpu and not be able to play in real time
