to me nine volt audio and bigfish audio are the bestrsp
Terry Bozzio's are the very best I have, and they cost me $11. I hope you've checked 'em out.

truthfully no.....I turned off of esoundz quality at least a year ago...so I stopped even listening to them because all of them I have bought have so far been relatively unusable for me.... does the TB come with song structure, intro, outro, verses, choruses etc or are they just a bunch of grooves done by him that you have to patch together and hope they work together?
thanks

I agree that not all esoundz libraries are perfect RMX quality - some of them don't work well with odd meters or Chaos, etc. On the other hand, the good ones are excellent and a great value. The Bozzio library works great and is huge. I bought a bunch of the libraries from that series, because they are nice dry drum kits and those libraries ten to be bigger than the little regular ones they do. And I think Bozzio's is prolly the biggest of all. I like a lot of them from that series, and I got ten of them for the price of one 9-Volt library. The Bozzio library is 1.73GB, which makes it the best deal among all my libraries, and it works perfectly with Chaos, etc., unlike a few of esoundz other libraries.

my fav lib from esoundz is the Steve Gadd. Its rather small but most of the loops are quite useful. I am a big fan of TB and was a bit underwhelmed by the mostly 4onthefloor based beats and the fact that some of the odd meter stuff didnt work right because of poor rexing. The Bruford lib suffered from the same problem.
In the end i got them all real cheap in a big groupbuy so i am not complaining-i just would hope that some of my drumming idols would consider to make a really good lib of rexed loops.

I didn't notice that yet with the TB library. Crap!

Oh well...still there's a lot of great stuff in there. I did get some cool odd meter stuff out of it though myself. Heck, it's amazing what you can do with only a bit of quality material in RMX!

Tommorrow at 12 PM
I posted this on a different thread, but...

I don't know if this list is complete (or if there will be "surprise" exhibitors), but if it's accurate, then Spectrasonics may not be at this NAMM since they are not specifically mentioned on the exhibitor list.

(If you select "Computer" and "Software" you will get a list...)

However, ILIO is listed so perhaps S might show up there....?

@digitalboytn: I would love it if that is true

I don't know how it's happened in previous years but yes, Spectrasonics appears in that directory under ilio (corporate affiliate). Booth# 6724 (Hall A)

I noticed an expensive Billy Cobham library out, but it was way too much for my meager income. He's my fav drummer of all time...

I'm completely lost. Are you guys saying these are RMX addons?

Post

yep

Post

Cobham isn't, but the others are.

And we seem to be in agreement that the ninevoltaudio ones are best (other than ilio ones).

Oh yeah. I never bought anything from 9va, but I do hear good things about them.
