Happy Birthday, Irion!
May your year be filled with more awesome creative endeavors!
(and a subconscious desire to vote for more Mac-compatible OSC synths :D )

Yeager - Insert Coin - 5
Aiyn - Beautiful Winter - 4
bzur - divagation - 3
Stonail - Mimosa Tree - 2
PocVecem - Panta Rhei - 1

Honorable Mentions:

Chacka - Diving with Diva. First 15 seconds and last 20 or so I thought you might be Deadmau5 with those heavy chords.

So many tracks that were technically perfect, only these stood out for me. Nice work everyone.

Amazing entries  , very hard to make a top 5 but...

Stonail - Mimosa Tree 5 points
DocJon - Eleventh Dimension 4 points
Iirs - Division 3 points
IrionDaRonin - Beyond the Sight 2 points (Happy birthday)

And yes, it was very hard to leave out a lot of great tracks  ,
well done everyone.

Happy Birthday from here, too, Irion :D

As promised a few more words about my votes (which I already posted 1 page ago)

Chacka - Diving with Diva (5 pts.)
When it started of with these nice full sounds and heavy beat, I thought "Hmm yes, that is nice, it might get some points from me", but then suddenly that middle part starts at 0:33 and I was overwhelmed. Seriously. And it becomes even better at 1:02, the title really makes sense here - you can nearly see the depths and abysses (?) of the ocean opening before you. And then I was sure this would be one of my top tracks :D

Pocvecem - Panta Rhei
I already wrote a little comment on SoundCloud, but I can only add that on the following days I found myself hearing the melody a lot in my head - a few days later I randomly found a nice quote: "Musik wäscht die Seele vom Staub des Alltags rein. / Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life." And I think this is one of these pieces that just somehow are special to you and when you listen to them you're not not just listening to some nice music but making a journey through your deepest thoughts and feelings - and there are few other tracks, that I listen to so rarely but intensively (Irions "Falling Asleep" for example is one of those eye-openers for depressed days).

mawa - Dance of the goblin
Very uplifting, fun sounds (I especially like that pitch-bending-sound that plays the nice intro) and arrangement, only 2:32 is a little too big for my taste.

Bzur - Divagation
Nicely dark and mysterious track with just the right amount of diverse sounds and reverb behind them. The arrangement flows nicely - and even though I love bridges in general, the breakdown section here was very nice, too :)

Nimrod7 - Unconditional Feeling
Simple, but effective. The one thing that stood out and make the track a lot more enjoyable to me is these "outbursts" the chords that you panned left sometimes have - somehow I really like that :D

Here we are back on OSC board.

First all the best wishes to Irion.

Second a big compliment to all contestants. You did so well. Too much work and some trouble with Diva's interface under Linux/Wine prevented us to join in last month.

There were three factors that made our rating. Like-factor, want-to-hear again-factor and don't-want-to-skip-forward-while-hearing-factor. No technical producer sound engineering talk this time.

Here are our votes:

Gorgorgathgorgorgor - Krampusnacht 5 points
Doc Jon - Eleventh Dimension 4 points
Stonail - Iranian Reggae aka Mimosa Tree 3 points
Nimrod7 - Unconditional Feeling 2 points
JoeCat - Diva Rides Alone 1 point

Honourable mentions:

PocVecem, Mawa, Chaca, Yeager, bzur, IIRs, Solidtrax, Irion Da Ronin.

You all enrich our lifes with the joy of music!

Greetings
