Believe me mate, since i came into KVR and OSC my life changed to good.Bjulin wrote:Man, Irion... you are really a lucky guy!! enjoy your diva!!
I knew good persons, winning prizes to make more music and with more quality, nice feedback from others, etc.
Like a signal, like "Hey, this is the way, continue in this way."
I always had a bad luck in my life, family, girlfriends, friends, jobs, etc. Like if i were lost.
I'm getting good friends here, and noticing that there are big persons in the world yet. And also, i feel that i belong to something where i feel fine, doing what i like to do, music.
If i would have enough money i would be and do the same with others, giving presents, and make life easier to others who can't to make music, etc.
But i don't have, so all i can do it's just helping to others, smiling at others, and giving free tips to others, etc.
That's why i'm really grateful to others, for have the oportunity and chance to test new gear, to continue making music, because it's the only thing i want to do, making music.
I will use Diva, that's for sure! Downloading now.
This is priceless.
Anyway, when i get my Zebra someday, i will make music without stopping, hehe.
See you around mates, and have a good day, thanks

Me too, i will go in February to see the doctor again to make some auditive tests.
I would like to quit this high frequency from my "ears".
Anyway i'm accustomed to it, due i had it since i was a child.
The doctor said to me that this could be hereditary.
So good luck in that too.

Congratulations all!
And about our place: 8th, not bad for a trance/progressive track
btw, we've bought Diva as well. Great synth next to DCAM.

WOOT WOOT !!
A monster big thanks and a hug to you all and my special thanks to Urs and his team for building an outstanding synth! The search for a reasonably priced Juno / Jupiter has and end. And a Voyager will most probably always be a dream only.
Diva has her place in my daw and finally i can get rid of the demo crackling.
Thanks Urs!
Wow, i still can't believe it. When all entries were in i thought, i'm very lucky if i'll get place five. Most experience i made with other people listening to my music was: you like it or not, there's not much space in between.
Ok, just a few more words on the song. I was happy to get some free days between christmas and new years day. Thought to myself that i must take the chance to make a song for the OSC. Still feel bad missing the Zebralette contest. Ok, already had found some nice presets and tweaked them to my liking and made some basses and sequencer sounds from scratch. And then the melodies just came out one by one - a genuine flow - hence the title. Started on 27th. Oh, not much time, not many free fx installed on my computer. So i tried to make as much as possible with Diva only. Not that much eqing as i usually do, using the synth filters instead like in good ol days. Too much bass - more HPF - done. Only had some trouble to build the right drums. And only here i found some eq and compressor necessary. In fact this is my first song were i didn't use a compressor on the stereo mix. Limiter (maximizer) only.
Must agree that the wave looks like a sausage.
Think JoeCat mentioned that. Indeed i find it a little overdone, there's some pumping and slight distortion. Normally i do mixing a few days/weeks after finishing a song. But this wasn't possible this time. Had to be finished on 30th, no time for music on 31th. So no fresh ears.
If i had to give some extra points for best mixing i would give them to Solidtrax and Aiyn. Just had to mention this.
Oh, and i specially have bad feelings about not giving points to Doc this time. Hope he doesn't bite me!
My special thanks go to V'ger and Irion for managing this mess.
@Rüdi: Er pfeift noch immer gräuslich auf einem hohen d. Deshalb ist und bleibt dmoll meine Lieblingstonart!
P.S.: I got a bonus today. After feeling fine for a few days i have the flu now. Another good reason for Doc not to bite me.
Hope to see you all soon.

ubergratz @Pocvecem!!!!
And yes, your waveform looked like a sausage, but didn't sound like one
Great job all around...
Thank-you to Urs and the u-he gang for another great product (which I now proudly own, crackle-free), the additional sponsors, and Irion, V'ger and the gang for administration and hand-slappin'.

Congratulations to pocvecem, a beautiful track and a worthy winner. And well done to all the other contestants too, there was a lot of quality on display.

Maybe that's something for a patch contest.
