First of all in the video only half of the GUI is shown
Second, the video was made using a prebuild (alpha) version of CELL which contains:
1 oscillator (Sin\Saw with unison and ULTRA SAW)
2 filters LP/HP/Peak (single, serial and parallel mode)
filter and amp ADSR with punch control
a reverb and a bit\samplerate reducer.
check out the audio demos on the first page.
At the moment only Anjey(the author of CELL) has got a full version. And a couple of people are participating in the internal testing with prebuild versions.
If all it will get is one oscillator with sine and saw/ultrasaw then I'm out.
Hi! In the final version of the CELL will be three + two oscillator sample-based oscillator. On board will be 10 envelopes (freely assignable to the parameter), except that beginning with the third of the envelope can be assigned as AMP of any of the five oscillators. Filters will be 6 types (3 types of 24 dB, and 5 types of 12 db). Modulation assumes a 40 slots (depending on the usability will be possible to change the number of slots in the final version of CELL). Would later be paved with a block diagram of the device (after it is fully prepared to structure). At the moment I do FM modulatio. Ready 4 operator FM engine. Experiment further with the connection as operators votes unison with other oscillators based on MCO. Ideally, we get 12 operators FM modulation. It was a small summary of the synthesizer Developed by CELL. Thank you for your attention. Your Anjey.
P. S Whether you like it or not, but the synthesizer will be Developed as much as you need time. If you have lost interest in the project, I'm not going to hold you))) but if you ask me something about the synth, I'll tell you kindly .... and I will answer as much as you ask me))). I recommend a lot of patience, because the project is not easy and time-consuming. Even if the Cell is lost interest in visitors this topic, I in any case finish CELL and'll porting patches of ACCESS VIRUS, and that I get can not doubt (Perseverance is one of the most important as a developer). Peace to all))

just out of interest - do you have any sort of goal in terms of time frame? Like some time this year - or is it open ended...?

Thanks for the information. I didn't intend to be rude, but I was kind of disappointed with what I saw/hard.Anjey_Olaf wrote:fmr wrote:Still, nothing about the architecture. You should know already about what it will be.hantymansy wrote:fmr:

Your description looks juicy. When do you think wou'll have the block diagram ready? And may I conclude, based on what you said about importing Virus patches, that it will, at least, have evrything Virus have? What Virus are we talking here?

I plan to build the architecture of the cell so as to get the modulation and sound creating the possibility of the virus (C - --- TI) but not in any way copy the device and simply create their own vision on the basis of the instrument. And two sample-based generator (SFZ) are also on board the two filters, and envelope, and sings it will be a unique kind of nuance.fmr wrote:Thanks for the information. Ultra saw is based on a mathematical algorithm (fully customizable in the flesh before each vote).Cyforce wrote:2 sample based osc? For the "ultrasaw"?

There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.
