Distributor/Panner module (Built-In) upstream of the filters?

well , how about using a switch module ?...JPQ wrote:Reaktor how i can build switch beetween different filter modules ? (LIKE Ladder/Pro52 switch) ?
add as many ports as filters you wish to switch between ...
set the method of choosing ( buttons , menu , text panel , spin ) ,
in the switch properties tab ...

maybe if i can connect audio to swich and if not now this kind switch can control this thing ?normal wrote:well , how about using a switch module ?...JPQ wrote:Reaktor how i can build switch beetween different filter modules ? (LIKE Ladder/Pro52 switch) ?

the best way to start to get a handle on this , is to find an existing .ens that doesJPQ wrote:maybe if i can connect audio to swich and if not now this kind switch can control this thing ?normal wrote:well , how about using a switch module ?...JPQ wrote:Reaktor how i can build switch beetween different filter modules ? what you want to do , and then dig inside , to learn how it was done ...
asking specific questions , at the NI forum , has been beneficial for me , as well ...

Have you looked at the application reference section 8 where it tells you about using switches?JPQ wrote:maybe if i can connect audio to swich and if not now this kind switch can control this thing ?normal wrote:well , how about using a switch module ?...JPQ wrote:Reaktor how i can build switch beetween different filter modules ? considering the questions you are asking , i recommend you examine the ' soundschool analog ' .ens ,
in the classics section , of the reaktor browser page ...
look at how this .ens is built ...
pay close attention to the properties tab , of the modules ...
reading the furnished materials , will help , as well ...

This kind of structure will do what you want:

If you use a fader as a selector control you can crossfade between filter types.

Thanks. i understanded earlier. now i must try solve one thing itself and itself becouse i try learn without asking too much. and now thinking is possible use lfo select filtters balance.~Pd~ wrote:This kind of structure will do what you want:

it'll also eat more cpu than using a simple switch. a switch effectively disables the unused down-stream circuits, while a selector does not (all connected circuits will be active at all times if the selector itself is active). on modern cpus two primary filters eat little, but in case of a more complex structures, a switch might be more efficient.~Pd~ wrote:This kind of structure will do what you want:

Yes, it's a trade-off. Switches save CPU, but they cause Reaktor-wide resets that can make clicks and pops in the sound. And you can't crossfade a switch. I usually reserve switches for turning effects off and on.

i've experienced those clicks before , in some .ens ...~Pd~ wrote:Yes, it's a trade-off. Switches save CPU, but they cause Reaktor-wide resets that can make clicks and pops in the sound. And you can't crossfade a switch. I usually reserve switches for turning effects off and on.
given that cpu is not quite the issue it used to be , w/ newer machines available now ,
i'll have to try your suggestion ...

Switches suck, they wreck your audio and trigger global resets, Just Say No!

@ jpq ..
dude ..you are asking the same questions here as on the reaktor forum ...
Take a look in the manual first , before asking really really basic simple questions .
If you allready have problems with these simple tasks in reaktor ...I am afraid that .......
