You have my exact thoughts in mind with both counts .. I mono my mix a fair bit and that would be great if you could do that.. to have the metering, gain and sum in one plug in for me is master bus gold dustd.bop wrote:I use it on the master tooglasgene wrote:Ok without trying this yet ..... I am loving the prospect of making this a staple on the master bus. A request for the future (if your taking them![]()
) could you find space for a collapse/mono switch ??
(setting the 0VU calibration to whatever amount of headroom I want in the mix)
Whipping up a quick mono->stereo summer would be pretty easy though if that's what you're after

I've been thinking about this a lot today and it's given me some good ideas. I'm not sure if I'll add it to dBVU just because it's main purpose is metering for tracking, but we'll see. I do have another plugin in mind that will include the same VU style metering and would be a better fit for the mono/stereo switch, though!glasgene wrote: You have my exact thoughts in mind with both counts .. For now, you'll have to use your DAW's mono/stereo button. If you're DAW doesn't have that feature, let me know and I'll make something similar to Polarity for you
