The Sonimus SonEQ is amazing and very musical. When I heard people talk about on here - I thought it was just hype but I'm a firm believer now. It shouldn't even be free.
I'm curious to try J1000 PQ33. Is it any good?

NoNameEQ is another (especially the split one which allows for M/S EQ duties). Also the list really is lacking Matt Lindsay's NCL EQ and PhaseEQ - both are great and see alot of use here FWIW.
Thanks for the heads up on all the others i have not heard of also, Got quite a few to try now

Fnequalizer must get the nod for the best GUI imo. Using the right mouse button to actually control something like bandwidth is so obvious it now seems weird hardly anyone else has thought of it (except Zebrify that I know of). The layout, size and color scheme and curve movement is all just as I would want them. Sounds pretty good too.

I am the one soul to vote for Kjaerhus Classic EQ, as it's a nostalgia thing and my first stereo EQ. But because of this thread, I absorbed BaxterEQ and this thing saves so much time. Really CPU efficient and useful for so many things. I can't believe there isn't more true stereo EQs out there.

That's a lot of plugins, hahaha! I've used the Poshfipot (sp?) over some years now, it was strangely suited for sounds from my old Ensoniq and acoustic sounds recorded by 421s, weird, huh?
What are the current cleanest free EQs and most (even wildly) colored free EQs? Just to narrow my initial exploration here. (already trying the "top" plugs in the poll).
