Don't know if anyone will be able to answer this, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a 3 stereo in, 1 stereo out mixer? All inputs/output are 1/8". There is no summing to mono, ie each input maintains its stereo position. I know I could get a proper active mixer, and use adapters/& y cables, but I just want a really small box that lets me mix 3ios devices and is ultra portable. Maybe I'll have to build one..cheers
Passive minijack (1/8") mixer?

It's not a mixer, but I got a Belkin RockStar 5-Way 3.5mm Splitter. Just use it opposite as a joiner. There's a slight drop in volume, but it works well.

I use this to connect my netbook, iPhone and iPad simultaneously.

Ah, this place answers so many of the questions I have without me even having to ask them myself.
Just wondering: can anyone confirm that there's no quality loss to speak of besides the volume drop? And no chance of anything weird happening over time to connected devices when their audio-outputs probably meet with a little bit of current from the other devices?

I've used the one I have with just about everything and haven't had any problems. I suppose it's not as good as making a summing bus type of thing (http://www.groupdiy.com/index.php?topic=16731.0 (http://www.groupdiy.com/index.php?topic=16731.0)), where they put resistors across the connections. I would have to look into the reasoning for the resistors, whether it's for sound quality or protection, or both, I suppose.-

Just received my Belkin R* and am really impressed. I had my iPad1 running MoDrum and NLog, and my iPod touch running another NLog - it was sooooo cool! Thank you again v8media for posting, you have made my day and found exactly what I needed!
Shame my iPad can't handle the pro version of NLog plus Modrum at the same time (but strangely my iPod touch 4g can handle both Nlog and Modrum..

I am sure IK will come out with this eventually- it's for a headphone jack and they are masters at making headphone jack devices (and really should as I can see this common place with people using all their iOS devices to make a complete music rig).

We do have something exactly like this, but its not passive.
iRig MIX is meant for this exact thing, you can even plug your guitar, bass or normal dynamic mic in and still use our normal apps like AmpliTube or VocaLive using it as well.
