Out of interest does Reverberate Core work on your machine, as this would have the same CUDA cufft32_32_16.dll/cudart32_32_16.dll or cufft64_32_16/cudart64_32_16.dll dependencies.

I'd also be interested to know if the install paths C:\Program Files\LiquidSonics\Filtrate (x64)\Resources or C:\Program Files (x86)\LiquidSonics\Filtrate\Resources made it into you system path environment variables (Computer->(rt-click)System->Advanced System Settings->Environment Variables->System Variables->Path).
I do see the x86 in my path, installed the x86 version. Reverberate core also starts up fine here. I own the original reverberate and that also works fine, guessing that doesnt matter much though

-Edit

Just figured id try filtrate once more, after installing reverberate core filtrate started up fine in energyxt. Couldnt get it to show up in abletons list just doing a scan, so i removed my existing shortcut and created a new one then re-scanned. Then filtrate showed up in ableton and opened fine.

So it seems like something in the reverberate installation fixed my filtrate issues

Thanks for trying that, it's unusual that this fixed it as it's the same installer effectively. If anybody else has issues with installing Filtrate on PC I'd be very interested to hear about that.

I've posted a small update that fixes loading of VST preset files, probably not many people use these, but in hosts like Wavelab it's a key way to recall presets so this should hopefully improve workflow for some.

I've added IR drag-and-drop support to Reverberate and Reverberate Core. You can now pick up an IR (wav/aiff/sd2/sdir/wir/flac) from your file OS' file browser (Finder or Explorer) and drop it on to the IR1/IR2 visualisation area (where the picture of the loaded IR is) in the plug-in and it will be loaded (with auto-pairing in true stereo mode where possible).

This is especially handy if you have a ton or IRs in subfolders of a base folder and know you want a hall. So you can do that search in your OS (where it digs through all the subfolders) and then drag files one by one into the plug-in to audition them.

Is there anything you could add to Reverberate? I would say it's almost perfect now.

Thank you for this update!

Very useful, thanks Matt

...this just an overall suggestion, far to be improved, to increase flexibility, mainly in using exotic IRs

Looks interesting, but it's more of an instrument idea isn't it?

No, no...it IS a convolution effect unit in my topic, (Galaxy X is a Rompler + dedicated convolution processor, and was just shown as example)

The idea is (if not too unrealistic, of course) to translate any IRs soundfiles by additive resynthesis into datas that would be way more flexible to modify and adjust for a purpose or another,( as Alchemy does in his own area, but applied here to the impulse responses )

The convolution unit might then render the datas into a new IR soundfile if the real-time process tooks too much CPU

As far as i can figure out, the current unknown field would be HOW to modify these datas to make something relevant for a convolution engine

An example i suggested would be a "filtered" resynthesis , as the "image synth room" into metasynth can do, but similarly a algorithm like "spectral magnet" of the "soundfront" did into soundmaker (it worked into Macos9 and it dev has reached the IRCAM team later...) would have given a very similar result

It would then easily create datas that as IRs, might work like sympathetic resonances focused on any scales or type of scales
(and BTW it would make an IR library like my "Deep Spaces" : http://www.dangerousbear.com/dbsig.html totally obsolete i'm afraid... )

...but again, this is only one example: currently the tools you've got in general to modify an IR sound file are limited, beeing mainly focused on a recreating natural soundscapes accurately, the use of exotic impulse responses are still IMO, quite of an uncharted territory

Just bought Filtrate. It's very clear-sounding. A tool for subtle shaping, and unbelievably efficient. £17? Thanks, LiquidSonics.

I've posted a small update to Reverberate and Reverberate Core to allow cycling the filter types using the alt-key plus mouse click, and to fix a problem with rendering in Sound Forge.

Filtrate also got a bump up with some extra EQ bands (now totalling 8 bands), an EQ mix parameter (to fade in an EQ or reduce the quantity of the effect if it's needed more in places than others without having to change all the gains) and the facility to follow MIDI keyboard notes in the range -12 to +24 semitones which makes it easy to apply a filter with multiple bands to a source with changing pitch (like a vocal or monophonic instrument).

Bit late to this discussion but so apologies if ths has been covered. I really like Reverberate and have been using it for some time. The only improvement I would like to see is more flexible breakpoint envelopes for the amplitude and possibly for the filter/eq. The ADSR style is good but it would be nice to have multiple break points for sculpting more esoteric effects. Thanks for making Reverberate it is a great sounding plug in! Best.S

Awesome new feature! Can't wait to try it out.

I've put up a small update that might be of interest to those who found their mouse wheel commands were not recognised by Reverberate in some PC hosts (Cubase and Live were the most commonly reported ones). This will make using the in-built the file browser a much more pleasant experience. There is also the new capability to display the individual channels of an IR in the visualisation area (this mode is activated in the settings tab, to avoid cluttering the interface).

thanks!
