What they said- Alesis has garnered a ton of hatred over their io dock, who knows if this will be any better...

Nice to see it done in nearly "IK red" so it can go very well with AmpliTube. They were obviously privy to the details of the upcoming update with 30-pin and MIDI support so that's good that it would be compatible with the iOS guitar gear sim with the largest user base.
We're excited, I know it isn't getting love due to the ioDock's rep but it really does look good from what we're seeing.

I don't see how they're privy to anything, since they've been making dock-connecting devices for over a year now, and you guys are just now bringing 30-pin capability when everyone else has had it for ages. It's about time though; I haven't used Amplitube since I got the superior-sounding Apogee JAM.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Nice to see it done in nearly "IK red" so it can go very well with AmpliTube. They mention us too in the linked page, so they had to check as we were - as you point out - not there yet with 30-pin so it would have been useless to mention us without checking on the status of getting 30-pin support. Meant nothing more than that.polaris20 wrote:I don't see how they're privy to anything, since they've been making dock-connecting devices for over a year now, and you guys are just now bringing 30-pin capability when everyone else has had it for ages. Wow, tried to have a little levity and see where that gets me on KVR. *facepalm* Point is it will work for many thousands of happy AmpliTube users which was my real point. We're just testing the update with MIDI, 30-pin, copy/paste, retina, etc so I wanted it to be clear that they didn't make a mistake mentioning AmpliTube in the text on the page linked. I need to be super-literal and not at all tongue-in-cheek here or we'll have to make an app for unbunching.martygras wrote:IK Red? Seriously?
Facepalm.
