Funny thing is that we've got a new coworker for the soldering iron because we want to explore our own controller designs. If this ever leads to a product we sell, I don't know. For now we'll just do this for our own fun, i.e. Musikmesse and other trade shows.

Gotta admit though, the TE stuff is funky.
Is this thread going to go on forever? There ARE other synths out there
Sure. I actually wouldn't mind if this thread, or any thread concerning any of my plugins was moved into my company forum. This would hopefully end those stupid hype discussions. I guess I can have as many threads in my own forum as I want, without being accused of any wrong doing.

I wonder however why it's always me who gets the blame (not directed at Examigan, but directed at recent accusations of some anti-fanbois)

But I gotta be honest...
Thanks.
That was one of the most sensible posts I've read in a long time.

Since I see no indication that Diva threads are shoving others off the first page of the Instruments forum's topic listing, that ought not to be necessary. When I posted this there was just one Diva thread and lots of other stuff, as pxindy noted.

Don't take it personally. Same thing happens to FL, to Reason, to whatever is popular and hot at the moment. Lots of people don't distinguish between fan and fanboi. "Ah, yes -- there IS a difference."

so who if forcing people to read these threads at gunpoint, can we not deal with those first?

You are all pathetic. But don' t panic; man is not a rational being.

Here, educate yourself a little:

http://www.webmd.com/sex-relationships/ ... ome-common

"It is very common for men to worry about the size of their penis," Wylie says in a news release. "It is important that these concerns aren't dismissed as this can heighten concerns and anxieties."
Now spice up this premise with a little projection http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_projection and you have an analog versus digital flamewar at KVR

Post

you're the third person to post that link recently, all after WR posted it....can you not find something more original?

Post

I don't get this whole digital vs analogue thing...

Just use the sounds for what they are...additions to a wide pallet of sounds. :)

There, that should kill this thread. :hihi:

This!
Diva isn't purrfect. She always wants to eat my CPU and I cope with it every time! Because she sounds so good.
So I'm a fan and not a fanboi. A fanboi is blind to everything and glorifies even the shortcomings. Having said that: I want Diva to make my coffee! There she has an official real world shortcoming. So when will she have an interface for that? 8)

Oh, so people know already and yet they keep exposing their anxiety in public?! To explain that kind of behavior we need to consult a more twisted form of defence. Lets try this one then: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reaction_formation
In psychoanalytic theory, reaction formation is a defensive process (defense mechanism) in which anxiety-producing or unacceptable emotions and impulses are mastered by exaggeration (hypertrophy) of the directly opposing tendency.[1][2]
Sounds pretty original to me.
