If there was a section for controllers (dj, controllerism, video..ism, whateverism) there would be some more news from NAMM
Behringer had some very cool things for dj's and ableton live'rs. The guy behind the idea is smart so i hope there will be a channelstrip coming soon and maybe one generic synth controller (instead of knob x 8, sliders x 8, buttons x

They should have called it iNAMM on the hardware side. Complete series of low end, bedroom dj/producer crap.
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

I was utterly disappointed and I like hardware and software.
As mentioned, too much i stuff but I guess that is where the money is.
Too many overpriced or plywood guitars that I will never want.
Some ok things for fun (like DP for windows) but nothing so far that is really cool or earth-shattering. And yeah, I kinda expect that in the year 2012. The UAD apollo is kinda cutting edge but I expected quite a bit more soundcards and controllers (and not just the i variety)
Oh yeah, those alesis idock thingys look kinda cool. I don't have an ipad but I see that as a really big deal deal for fx lugging.
Oh yeah........where are the fracking usb 3.0 soundcards?
