can't hear RMV Varizer

In a loop, I select wither "edit all," or "group X," (to which all slices have been assigned). I play the loop and enable the varizer with the right mouse button, and I rotate the varizer knob with the right mouse button. I expect to hear some effect to the timing of the pattern, but I hear no such effect. Am I doing something wrong, or do I have no sense of rhythm?

The Varizer does not (really) alter the timing of a loop; you can do that in the host (by moving around slice trigger notes), BUT does vary the sound of a single drum hit in various (but subtle) ways. please check the manual for more info about the varizer.
