Anybody tried any of the new amps and effects in JamUp ? What's your favorites and what would you like to see in the future?

For me, I want to use JamUp for creative effects with a mic. So for now, I am waiting to see if you guys end up catering to that end (or even more atmospheric effects for guitar would do me fine). I had my eye on the effects bundle but not being a guitar player, I really have no knowledge on what I should pick up (and don't want to spend money now and complain later- kinda like I did with my previous experience that you can find here with another company).
So, bring on some creative effect suites that can give us drones, pads, smoke and mirrors, and you will have my itunes money in no time flat. Think of something similar to NI's The Finger or The Mouth for cool effect ideas.
Now, if the existing effects can do all of this, I would love to know how- so maybe more presets that cater to this would also work (and hey, a better preset manager- 16 slots is not enough). Maybe do up a set list with up to 16 slots per set (with the ability to copy and save sets and rearrange them in the set list as needed). Just an idea.

I have not tried any new ones, but just wanted to praise JamUp.Derek Buddemeyer wrote:Anybody tried any of the new amps and effects in JamUp ? What's your favorites and what would you like to see in the future?
I looked at all the amp apps, and decided on JamUp, and am so glad I did! I use it with the Apogee Jam Studio, and it is just perfect. Sweet tones and just a joy on the iPad 2 and iPhone 4.
I will be buying some of the other packs, but why don't you sell an "all in one" pack at a discount price?

+1 for that. Personally, I wish you just made a master version that we get all the latest upgrades free. Charge something like $50 for it. Could be JamUp Aritsan or something (can't stand premium, platinum, gold, or any other over-used word).

That would be awesome. Other manufacturers should do the same.JavaJ wrote:+1 for that. Personally, I wish you just made a master version that we get all the latest upgrades free. getting tired of "in-app purchases".

In-app purchases work for the overwhelming majority of users. Plus, some kind of "Mercurial Bundle" simply would not work for IK because of the licensing deals with Fender or the upcoming one with █████.martygras wrote:That would be awesome. Hey Java, all will be revealed in the coming months (it may just be the most exciting new AmpliTube edition yet!)
Didn't mean to derail the thread, just wanted to address the whole in-app purchase thing, because I felt that martygras may have been talking about us.
Carry on guys!
