Well, I must say that I love reading your "blog manuals" so please continue with that. :)
And the copy paste presets here on kvr are awesome!

Here is a small impro with one of my ALchemy Guitar patches processed by the all mighty ÜberMod...

I have the OSX beta version of ValhallaÜberMod 1.0.1 ready for testing. If you are an ÜberMod customer, you are welcome to try the beta!

What has changed:

- New control, WARP InputPan (i.e. there is an InputPan control, under the WARP tab). Used for reversing stereo image, summing to mono, or for left or right ping pong delays.
- New presets, including PingPong presets, as well as StereoEnhancement, DoubleTracking, and a bunch of additions to existing categories.
- Changed code to deal with Win32 display of MODE, but since this is an OSX beta, it won't make any difference. I'll work on the Windows build later tonight.
- Fixed bug in mono->stereo bypass in ProTools.
- Disabled the "clear delays" command when switching modes. This will lighten the CPU load a little when changing modes, and will create a cool slurping artifact as the new taps move into place. I would call this "morphing" if we were still in 1997, and I had called the plugin ValhallaPhattMod.
- Slight changes to the installer, to deal with some issues that users have encountered on OS 10.5. I don't have 10.5 installed (I do my work in 10.6, test in 10.6 and 10.4, and have beta testers working in 10.7), so if any 10.5 users want to give the beta a spin, it would be greatly appreciated.

Send me an email, or a PM with your email address, and I will send you links to the beta. Thanks in advance for checking this out!

Sean, just want to let you know that ÜberMod just saved by butt on a couple session guitar tracks I had to record. I wanted to make some some very strange FX out of a heavily distorted guitar track and the result was incredible... ambient / alien stuff out of a metal guitar!

Just sorry I can't post it as I'm just the session guy... (oh, and the preset either as I never save a patch, be it a synth sound or FX preset  )

I picked this up a while ago but have only just had a chance to play around with it. I was just going through presets and flailing the settings around and I was blown away! It's like a delay workshop on LSD and steroids (kids: don't do drugs... unless you're an FX plugin!). I've seen quite a few of this kind of effect in my time but none have literally made my jaw drop from random putzing on the interface.

Loving the way the delay buffer bleeds over when you change effects, as well. That's going to be invaluable for glitchy workouts :)

Aside from the general endorsment (above) the RED bit there, got my undivided attention... this is one of my favorite 'editing/mixing' post-production things. Awesome 8)

Jeezzzze, man... being THE "pingpongingpanning" whore that I am, I have to get this RIGHT NOW! (thank you) :D

I go away for a couple of months, a SURPRISE ~ there are tons of new toys!!! woo-hoo!!!

@Sean... Seattle? Though I'll stick with my quad (shots) latte's, PM me, and I'll buy you a 'green-tea' or 'yerba mate' latte, sometime.

Well, I just "improved" this in the latest beta of ÜberMod. In the 1.0.0 release, I cleared the delay memory when changing modes, just to be on the safe side. Turns out that I didn't have to do that. Now, when switching between modes with different numbers of delay taps, the new taps will "slurp" into place.

Cool! I do coffee in public, mind you - I can't justify spending money on tea, so I end up getting some hyper caffeinated sugared up drink that sends my brain into the stratosphere.
