Just a reminder for those of you who have DCAM Synth Squad, BFD2 or Geist & are sitting on the fence - one week left to take advantage of the Tremor introductory offer.
Cheers,
Angus.

Kudos to you for not ending the deal on the last day of the month. I work my funds as a monthly "allowance" to myself so as not to go crazy(er) and I bet a lot of people's finances run this way. Having it end a week into the month made it easy to get the deal.Angus_FX wrote:Just a reminder for those of you who have DCAM Synth Squad, BFD2 or Geist & are sitting on the fence - one week left to take advantage of the Tremor introductory offer.

There's overlap in all drum synths as far as I can see, but judging by NI's "sound" in general (look at all the drum stuff that comes with Reaktor) I'd say it's bound to be different enough.musikmachine wrote:Yeah. If Maschine gets a drum synth it think there will be a lot of overlap but i really like what it can do. I don't know if it will be in the next update or a few updates down the line so...Sampleconstruct wrote:Cheers - so you're still sitting on the Tremor fence...musikmachine wrote:Like it!Sampleconstruct wrote:More Tremor Beatz - new preset Partial Zone

Definitely, integration is a big factor though. I mean with the sequencing more than anything else, you can create repeats with the grid resolution plus swing and polyrhythms etc. Plus it's likely to be friendlier on the cpu. Unless maschine goes multicore by then...zerocrossing wrote:There's overlap in all drum synths as far as I can see, but judging by NI's "sound" in general (look at all the drum stuff that comes with Reaktor) I'd say it's bound to be different enough.musikmachine wrote:Yeah. A week later, and no response. Is there a more appropriate venue to file a bug report?whitecloud wrote:I encountered something similar yet more severe with the Demo. wouldn't record some patterns. I'd say I had a 75% success rate. This was replicated in both 64 and 32 bit hosts. I mentioned it here, but no one else
seemed to have that issue, because I got no replies.
whitecloud: I did take note of the problems you were experiencing, but I haven't been able to reproduce them. The bug I'm dealing with looks like a classic sequencer problem, where the play head is parked on the first step and when it gets the first clock pulse, it advances to step 2 and begins playing from there.

I am glad you haven't had the issue I experienced using the demo, sorry you still have your problem with no resolution yet. Perhaps my experience is more isolated but since there is no drag and drop and at times Tremor would not record any notes in particular patterns to track, I resigned myself to not purchase what is really cool software. I had a few niggles with Geist but with tech support all was resolved. I also have DCAM Synth Squad and sometime when I change presets in Fusor my Daws sometimes crash. But it is beta and I haven't had many other issues. I love Giest, don't know what I would do without it now. And DCAM once I get my head around it more is going to fill many tracks, it is awesome as well and the FX guys, though busy at times do try and help as fast as they can.deastman wrote:A week later, and no response. deastman - yes, our tech support contact form
Seriously, while we do try as far as we can, it's really hard to track a tech support problem in a 40+ page KVR thread. We do have our own forum but generally prefer if people use the tech support contact form, as the form asks for all the information we need, so that we can set up a suitable test in our QA department. On a forum it can take a lot of back/forth replies just to establish the facts about the system and usage scenario. The contact form is here:

whitecloud - if you're having stability issues with Fusor, please update to DCAM v1.1.0.28.

I'm loving Tremor - the synth section is so much fun to tweak - but am really, really missing the 'Shift' drag edit feature from Geist. Any plans to implement that in a future update? I find it essential for getting a natural feel for a groove.
