I'm not familiar with the genre or how it's "supposed" to sound. The track is a bit too repetitive for me, this may well be how Progressive House is done so I won't argue with any of that. It would require more in the way of progression, chords etc. for me to enjoy it as a musical piece. It might well work on the dance floor, but it seems even most dance music has some clever hooks and stuff these days.

What I did notice that I doubt is intentional though, is the pumping effect that you've got going from 1:14 and onward. Pumping the track like this using ducking or sidechaining can be really cool in dance music (or anywhere it works), but there's something "off" about your pumping effect. It feels unmusical, like it's not working well with the rhythm of the song but kind of fighting the rhythm instead, and that's bad for dance music! I'd experiment with attack/release times on the compressor creating the effect and try to get the pumping to "pump with the beat" if you understand what I mean? That would give the track and beat more power and drive I'm sure.
