(Given that I couldn't dial a phone number in Europe to save my life....I could call America. Bought a phone card, put it in, dialed, no problem. But me and European phone numbers don't get along.)

It worked. And I;m happy to report customer service couldn't have been nicer and she spoke perfect English. The order went through, so if you want Beat, this is the website to order through. Don't know if they sell single issues, but it's worth a try. It was $87.00 for 11 issues which works out to $7.90 an issue. Practically a steal considering Computer Music goes for $17.00 at Barnes & Nobles...

FYI: She also said the delay in response was because they were having problems with the current issue, which means to me it's almost sold out. So if you want it, I'd try to grab it while I can.

I just got my first issue in the mail. It started with #75, so it looks like the next will be #76 with Firebird on it.
Very fast turnaround from order time to actually getting it. Even if email support is maybe lacking.

ok, finally got my issue of beat.
unfortunatelly dune le doesn't pass au-validation in logic 9.1.5 (os 10.6.7.).
does anyone else have this problem or is it caused by my "older" system
can't update because 10.6.8 completelly messes up my system but is needed for logic 9.1.6/7
if this is a known problem, will there be a fix (i know that normally there are no updates for this).

I ordered a single back issue of Beat from 2011 via Paypal from Falke Media. I had no problems processing the order about a week ago.
Can anybody that is American tell me how long it would take for it to arrive in the States? Osiris, you said it was a quick turnaround. Can you tell me about how long?
I'm not expecting it to be here in a week but wanted to know how long I should expect. The reason I ask is because several days after I successfully ordered the item , I went back to the website and saw that the only issue from 2011 available to order was January 2011. When I ordered, all twelve months were available.
I'm a bit concerned that they might have been out of stock before I even ordered even though my order went through. From this thread, it seems like they are nonresponsive to e-mail so I'm a bit concerned about being bamboozled, especially since I've never dealt with them before and I am a foreigner to them.
Anybody have any thoughts or suggestions? I'm hoping I get my issue because the fact that all the 2011 issues were lifted only a few days after ordering made me suspicious and I didn't get any follow up from them aside from the digital receipt. Thanks everyone in advance!

Ordered May 15th, arrived July 3rd.
A long wait but it got here. I hope your issue arrives more quickly but if it is slow don't give up.

Thanks so much for the response! I really appreciate it. Wow...that is a long wait. But it is a consolation to know that you actually got your edition. I'm wondering that maybe some of these issues end up being backordered and it takes time for them to print before they ever get delivered. Hopefully they communicated well with you whether by email or phone with you during the process. I guess I'll just wait then. It's not like I paid much for one edition but I'm debating whether or not I should buy a similar edition from Keys from 2011 before it goes out of print altogether or just wait. I would think that if they could not send this edition because it is out of print or for any other reason that they would let me know. But who knows. Thanks again bftucker.

I just got my edition of Beat Magazine and I am pumped! I believe the order date was January 28th and I received today March 11, 2013. Thanks for saving me the worry. As you said, give it some time and it took a bit to arrive but I got what I want. Cheers bftucker!
