IMHO the teasers are pretty impressive plus they stated that is going to cost less than £60, so i am wondering why no one talks about it!

I've never heard of you guys until now. Be sure I'll be keeping an eye on that. Love the demo sounds toward the end. Don't forget the exchange rate sucks for us Americans.
Thanks for the heads up.

It really sounds quite nice. :)

Interesting! Seems like a simple VA with some unique elements :)
I love the samples in OSC 3, they sound very similar to the transient waves of the SQ-80 :)
The filters seem to sound quite nice too!

Really like the sound of this . Interesting to see the full feature set .

not to mention that i like the easy but comlpete interface

Anyone know when a demo/release date is?
The filters sound delicious in a moogy way, and the oscillators look like they have more than your basic suspects.

I am sure the guys at Sonic Academy have been looking long and hard at a replacement for Sylenth which they've used on a lot of their production tutorials.
Ana is no doubt aimed at taking their tutorials to a new level not currently possible using the dated technology of Sylenth.

The interface shows the Gui and Dsp development was handled by Michael Olsen the co founder of Sonic Timeworks so I think its fair to say its a professional synth and not something knocked up in SynthEdit.

Not sure about the name though as it kind of treads lightly on another well known synth by AQ.
There's also another synth called Anna (a synthmaker project)

You'd think they would have come up with something a bit more original. :D

The Gui seems to resemble Geist and Tremor using a similar colour palette but thats a good thing as it looks pleasing on the eye.

I am thinking Phil Johnson of SA is going to really show what ANA is capable of in his forthcoming tutorials.
:)
Certainly looks way more fun than Sylenth.

The trance sounds here are among the best I've heard.

BTW, I could find no info whatsoever about this synth on their website. The link osiris posted went to a news front page that said nothing about a new synth coming out.

There's much to like about the sound IMO, nice oscillators and filters. Only OSC 4 appears a bit gimmicky to me, but we'll see how this works in practice. At a reasonable price, this could be a success.

Defintively interesting, but nothing unique(transient waves) there can do a DiscoeryPro the same with his SampleOsc.

Also nothing special, but nice sounding for sure :D

I think it sounds nice! The OSC4 is kind of cool to me as it's a bit like how the D-50 used sampled attack waveforms. Some nice features in there that Sylenth1 could have used.

Not sure I really agree with this. This synth doesn't sound like Discovery to me in this video, it sounds smoother. I'll reserve any further judgement until I can demo it, though. It sounds better to me than Sylenth too on at least one or two patches.

Don't forget AnaMark. It was first released in 2001 and at the time it was one of the most powerful VSTis available. It still has a lot of features not seen very often today even though it looks quite dated by now. IIRC it was the fist VSTi that supported micro-tuning.
