Tone2's bifilter and filterbank plugins have some of the coolest actual filter profiles and diversity around. Especially in filterbank, where you can subtract one profile from another and then modulate them in contrary motion, crazy stuff like that... Very cool! I love the sound of Tone2's filters, too.

When it comes to sheer modulation power, though, something like Volcano or Filterscape or even Zebrify is going to win, especially Filterscape with it's filter morphing.

Soundtoys Filter freak gets my vote adds analog emulation as clean or fat as you want it.

waldorf d-pole is still one of the best if u know how to use it that is
