Just found this excellent sequencer its notation based but you can loop the midi track.
Its got general midi sounds internal or 16 track external midi.
Works with midi in and out.
Tested with usb midi, corenet and virtualmidi using midibridge.
Tested output to itouch to trigger nlog synth and it works great.
No background audio but background synths are triggered.
Pattern editor.
Finger draw for pitch,velocity,mod etc.
Programme change internal or external.
Realtime recording of midi with loop option.
Email midi files.
Print notation sheets.
One touch transpose of notes on screen.
Midi fx control.

Is AirPrint the only way to get it on paper? I suppose email is sufficient.
I've been waiting for a notation app that's simple to use. This looks nice especially with the midi.

No chord charts and minimal lyric abilities. But a good start.
