I don't know it but anyway i don't like arp in VST' as i am used to use Kirnu in Reaper or the bundled one in Ableton Live.

Also nothing special, but nice sounding for sure :D
Not sure I really agree with this. This synth doesn't sound like Discovery to me in this video, it sounds smoother. I'll reserve any further judgement until I can demo it, though. It sounds better to me than Sylenth too on at least one or two patches.
I'm sure the synth from Sonic Academy will have another soundtaste/facette as for example the DiscoveryPro. I just meaned the prinzip "va-osc + sample osc" is nothing new
The pure osc section on ANA looks definitively better, more powerful.
DIe DiscoveryPro is there also a little bit more away from ANA, through his Nordlead 2 clone dna. But still good for nice trance sounds, alà

Is there any info out, when ANA will be available?

I have Kirnu and i really like it, but i also appreciate the internal arp of Sylenth1 a lot. It would be cool to have both.

This is gonna be fun. I always like synth with simple interface like this one. I definitely will get this if i find the demo intereting, i miss sylenth and this one reminds me of it.

I didn't know if I should link directly. The news is in the forum section, but it's pretty much what's in the videos. There's no dedicated page yet AFAIK.

There's also another synth called Anna (a synthmaker project)
http://synthmaker.co.uk/anna.html
You'd think they would have come up with something a bit more original. :D
Don't forget AnaMark. It was first released in 2001 and at the time it was one of the most powerful VSTis available. It still has a lot of features not seen very often today even though it looks quite dated by now. IIRC it was the fist VSTi that supported micro-tuning.

Yeah I remember AnaMark, very cool synth for its time and capable of very unusual sounds especially when compared to most of the synths released around that time.

A couple of weeks according to their website. Subject to change I guess.
Btw Your Discovery demo sounds pretty cool. Well done!
I downloaded the Discovery demo a couple of times but just couldn't seem to gel with its interface or program anything that sounded half decent.
I think its one of those oddball synths that has an unusual learning curve.

No need to save for expensive plugins anymore :D

This is so boring. Again and again the same. Makes finally something new or different. Always the same sound. :(

I think that skilled sound designers have a lot of tools to create new sounds.
When in Live i start to create a synth patch and to combine it with effects looks like combinations are infinite.

hehe I feel your pain but then sometimes the tried and tested formulas actually work very well.
A bit like the infamous Axis of Awesome 4 Chords

Not that I advocate the treadmill but hey sometimes inovation fails and in these uncertain times risk isn't what developers need.

Remeber Hamburg-Audio NUKLEAR? now that puppy really did try to be different
and seems to have gone down like a lead brick amongst the general community.
So its back to the I-V-vi-IV. :D
Rinse and repeat.

In ANA's defense at least its supersaw sounds half decent and its at a very fair price.

There's plenty out there to make sounds that aren't typical trance sounds. Try Zebra, Omnisphere, a bunch of stuff for Reaktor, etc., etc., etc.

I'm glad to see there may be an affordable VST that does a very smooth and musical supersaw poly sound, though. If the demos don't lie, this may be one of best trance synths created so far.
