I've just released v1.0.5
I've changed the way the slopes behave in some cases so that you won't accidentally make the slope go to 100 and blow your ears out. Until now the handle would point toward your cursor no matter what, now if your cursor is between the handle control point and the yellow dot (or beyond) it doesn't try to point toward the cursor as it's too close, instead it sets the handle control point to be at the same vertical level as your cursor. It's pretty neat and avoids problems.
I've also fixed the knob font a bit to make it sharper and thus more readable. That's it.

this is really an amazing Eq, surely the most intuitive I have.

Sounds like a good idea! What would you like to see in it precisely?edushka wrote:Hi! Why not to make just visualizing / analyzing VST plugin?
It's about unobtrusive as it gets, when you download the full version (using the permanent URL that you receive by e-mail after buying it) it just writes in the binaries a code that is unique to you, so you don't have to use a serial or anything (this way I don't have to receive mails from people who have trouble with the serial, phew!). From the user point of view it's just as if there was no protection (but not from the pirate point of viewkhanyz wrote:What's the copy protection on this. *Noob question*
Is there a difference between turning the blue or the red dot while setting up an eq-point?

No, they both control the same thing, which is the slope, so that makes no difference which one you use. However in the future maybe you'll be able to move each point closer or further away in frequency to have more control over the curve, in which case it would make a difference.manducator wrote:*Noob question*

This EQ is a stroke of genius - so intuitive! I bought it after evaluating the demo for 30 seconds.
One urgent request:
On my 1980x1200 17" Macbook Pro screen I almost can't read the numbers in the controls! I have to change glasses and put my nose against the screen and it's still difficult.
The numerical readouts are much too small and (for aesthetic reasons?) low contrast and slightly fuzzy. They ought to be almost doubled in size and with better contrast.
Please!
Best,
Joachim

Yeah, I'm considering doing something radical about the knobs, it just doesn't work as well as I thought it would when I first thought of it, no matter what I try. It would be better to have smaller knobs and just a display below them, although there are problems with that too. As it is you can't really make the font larger without ending up having some cases (like the frequency to 20000) of the display without it going out of bounds.Spitfire31 wrote:This EQ is a stroke of genius - so intuitive! But I'm still not sure how to do it right. Any models out there I should follow?

"20K" instead of "20000"?A_SN wrote:…It would be better to have smaller knobs and just a display below them, although there are problems with that too. I'll look around for models.
