Help me decide whether to upgrade to Cubase 6

I loved SX3 but Cubase 6 is an all-around better experience.

I haven't had to submit any customer support requests with v6 though, so I'm not sure if they are any better now?

Official as defined by an actual support ticket. In my case, the support was good.

right. it's funny, many people seem to think the forums are support, they are not. I've never had poor support, in fact it's been unbelievably good. the forums are Bizarro World Steinberg.

I was referring to pre v6, nothing to do with forums. I wrote to the company about an issue i had with SX3, and they were very slack with responding. After a third email they told me that eveything would be solved in the next update, then they simply canned the update and brought out C4... AND wanted another $300 for me to upgrade to it, good times good times...

Looks like I'd need the $299 option to go from SX 3 ($269 with coupon code), which is still a lot better than the price Steinberg wants ($399).

I appreciate the helpful responses from people in this thread! Still undecided, will let you guys know what I decide.
