Internet > mobile with 3G and WIFI > Ipad2 with WIFI. Is it feasable?

So I got a Samsung Galaxy Spica that has 3G and WIFI, as well as an Ipad2 with WIFI. Right now I'm currently borrowing some bandwidth from an unlocked WIFI network, but I think it would be better if I could connect my Ipad2 to my mobile's connection. If that's possible.
Any experiences doing this configuration?

No hard feelings. I just hate to steal bandwidth since I got it in my front ppocket anyways.

It's probably worth noting that your phone may come with a fairly limited bandwidth in it's contract.
I've got an HTC Desire and to do what you want to do I just switch on the 'Wifi Hotspot' function and it's ready to go. It shows up just like any other wireless signal.

I do exactly as you wish to, albeit on an iPhone now but I could do exactly the same with an old Symbian Nokia phone I had previous. I had to download an app for the Nokia called 'Joikuspot' if I remember. If your phone hasn't got personal hotspot built in then look 4 an app, search for 'mi-fi' or hotspot and I'll bet a nut something will be available.
No, that Glitch is meant to be there.....
