Why?

There's no point in debating any of this.

I think Orion is beautiful, I'd use that if it cost $60, was cross-platform, and had as open of a licensing system. Those were big considerations for me. I seem to be doing ok making music, the limitation like always is my own musical knowledge and creativity, it really isn't the tools. I think of it this way: if all we had was what we have today, we could go on making music for 10,000 years. We are searching after so much technology and we don't fully utilize what we have before us. I could likely use the same computer and software for the rest of my life, it is so much more than my grandfather had :) or Mozart. And I would know all the software and synths to a very deep level, instead of discard everything and learning something new every few years. Why we spend so much time on a forum arguing about who likes what definitely shows our fragile grip on Reality :) I think a lot is driven by the software marketing departments :) 'fanboyism' maybe is their concoction.
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

People just like shiny new toys.
It's called materialism.

Wise and honest.

Speaking of Orion. Where are those 'frequent updates' Richard was talking about ? .It's been half year since 8.5

I think it will be soon but as of now the 8.5 has little or no bugs. The GUI made my working with it more pleasant. Designed by the same Reaper Theme designer, Nick Moritz.

On the contrary, Mozart had a full Pro Tools HD3 system and a full arsenal of plugs from the likes of NI (mostly piano) SoundToys and McDSP. Most of which were illegally obtained from that pirate Salieri.

Well that's what I heard on another forum.

Those that can, do. Those that can't, argue about it on k-v-r

Of course Mozart could, any time he wanted, get a full orchestra assembled in a really nice big room to perform anything he cared to write before the ink dried, or even as he dictated it...

I heard while they were onstage they had huge orgies under the stage...or was that beethoven? Is was the Def one

On a slightly serious note (pardon the pun) as for assembling a full orchestra in a large room (and this thought just occurred to me reading your post). I imagine if one was to write such a composition you could probably do some good for your community while getting an orchestra to play it for you. Of course it might not be musicians with the same level of discipline and training but I'm sure any high school (maybe even some college) bands would love the real life experience for their students :)
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Mozart could hear a full orchestra play anything he wanted any time, in his head.

I hear choirs or monks chanting in my head
