Just tested my yamaha O1v96vcm on ipad 2 using usb cck and all 8 midi selection channels work
This means i can Automate the mixers and fx settings from a midi app.
Also the digital 2 track in/out works connected to tascam us-800 .
I wonder if the new O1V96i which has audio and midi is class compliant too, cant find any info on yamaha website if it sends audio and midi too then im going to do a trade in i think.
The ipad just gets better and better !!!

I have emailed Yamaha about class compliant with the 01v96i audio and midi, they are asking the engineers in japan.
Update the Yamaha 01v96i is not class compliant. Yamaha said.
01V96i is not class compliant for either Audio or MIDI. It communicates based on unique protocols in order to use functions such as clock source switching.
