It's pretty good you know:

It kind of went from very good to incredible during the last 4 weeks or so of beta testing - especially the modular area makes it great imo.

My recommedation would be for everyone interested in modular sound generation to at least try out the free version.

Mulab may not look the part like some other hosts but that modular stuff is wicked. The whole thing sounds great.

I love the event/note editor for full control and the shortcuts for every possible actions. That's a luxury to me.

No as bad as Tracktion :-o .

Here at least the reincarnation is far better and with a more wide future. MuLab really rocks. The modular aspect is very deep!

Really? So, where is Loop Composer and Playroom? There is maybe 2/3 functionality of Muzys, only Modular (don't know what its name is for now) is more advanced than Muzynth :x

I don't know if those are planned but did you try to use it? I mean v4. I'm going to Live less and less actually.
The modular aspect is the main character of MuLab IMHO, and it's only getting deeper and better.

Without multi-core support it really does not make any sense.

It's priority number one for Jo, so it's coming in the PC near you

Haven't tried Mulab for a while, i'll have to give it another whirl.
Multi-core support is a must for the to do list though. :)

I will use it more with Multi Core support. I know that Jo is working on it for the next version due later this year. I've continued to support the product even though I don't use it as a show of faith in the future of the program. Jo has said a number of times that multi core support is the absolute top priority for version 5; above all other requests.
At the moment, there is a sort of dual core support in that one core is dedicated to audio and the other is used for graphics.

You'll forgive me but not having multicore support or x64 is really not a good thing. Vital even for most home-hobbyists.
